Linda Aim ilmn of Miles City, and Sm, ry VandeKoppel of Castle Rock. and five grandi hildivn Association wits a member of both the Colorado and the American Bar Associations and the Motor Carriers Associations. He also served as a PTA president in the Littleton Public Schools. He was an active member of Colorado Community Church.

Clinton A. Nicks GUERNSEY Funeral services for Clinton A. Nicks, 53, will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the United Presbyterian Church in Guernsey with the Rev. Judith A.

Cuthbertson officiating. Interment will be in the Prairie Rest Cemetery in Guernsey. Family and friends may call at the United Presbyterian Church in Guernsey on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. Mr. Nicks died Dec.

19, at the United Medical Outer West in Cheyenne after a lengthy illness. lie was born Sept. 22, 1942, in Wheatland, the son of Carl "Jack" and Ethelyn (Frederick) Nicks. He graduated from Guernsey High School in I960 with high athletic honors. He attended college in Scott-sbluff, and Torrington.

During that time, he was also active in the Wyoming National Guard. After returning home in 19li4, he married Marcia A. Whitney of Torrington. Presbyterian Church of Guernsey or the Guernsey Rescue Unit, P.O. Hox U7, Guernsey, 82214, would be appreciated by the family.

The Platte Funeral Chapel of Wheatland is in charge of the arrangements. J. Francis Trimmer PARKER A memorial service for former Casper resident J. Francis Trimmer, tifi, was held Dec. 5, 1995, at Colorado Community Church in Englewood.

Interment was in Chapel Hill Cemetery in Littleton, Colo. Mr. Trimmer died Nov. 30, 1995, in Seattle, Wash. He was born Dec.

5, 1928, in McCook, Neb. He served in the 8th Cavalry division as occupied forces in Japan during World War II and received a Purple Heart for injuries sustained there. After the war, he attended McCook Junior College and was named to the Ail-American football team for junior colleges. He continued his education at the University of Denver, where he received a bachelor of science in business administration, a master's of business administration in transportation and a juris doctorate in labor and corporate law. He was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity.

On June 20, 1954, he married Barbara J. Robinson of Denver at University Park Methodist Church in Denver. Trimmer worked in the trucking industry for Hi years as an officer of Ringsby Truck Lines in Denver and after two years in Denver with Salt Creek Freightways, moved to Casper in 1978 to become vice president of operations. lie later became president and CEO of Salt Creek Freightways. He retired in 1985.

Before returning to Colorado, he was associated with Stratton Real Estate and the Wyoming High School and USS swimming officials. He returned to Denver in 1990. He served as president of Colorado Motor Carriers They made their home in Guernsey where they were engaged in a family ranching business as well as banking and the local bowling alley. In 1972, he purchased a new ranch in Fort Laramie, where he resided until May of 1994. lie then purchased his home in Guersney, where he remained until his death.

He was an ardent lover of the outdoors and nature's beauty. His other hobbies included hunting, fishing, sports, music, (lancing and numerous friendships. He was a past member of the local and state Jaycees, where he was chosen as one of the "Outstanding Young Men of America." He was also a member of the Old Timer's Association, a volunteer fireman, the Men's Howling Association and the United Presbyterian Church of Guernsey. Mr. Nicks is survived by bis parents of Guernsey, two daughters, Sheri Kissell of Medicine How and Julie Nicks of Laramie; and two grandchildren.
