1 1 star DIARY B4-Star-Tribune, Casper, Wyo. Tuesday, Dec. 2, 1980 Of Obituaries Calendar James The Mass of the Resurrection for James H. Farmer, 60, will 1 be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Casper.

Father Daniel Colibraro will be the celebrant. The rosary will be recited at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Bustard Funeral Home. Mr. Farmer died Saturday evening at St.

Luke's Hospital at Denver following a brief illness. He was born July 1, 1920, at Casper, and was reared and educated here. He graduated from Natrona County High School in 1939. On Nov. 6, 1941, he married Bettie J.

Perlinski at Las Vegas, Nev. Mr. Farmer had worked in the trucking industry from 1939 to 1949. He had worked for Gates Rubber Co. until 1965, then for Dick Hoff Construction until 1968, when he purchased the company and changed the name to Steel Structures Inc.

He was president of the company at the time of his death. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society of the church. Mr. Farmer was also active in Boy Scouts, the Women's Athletic Booster Club at Casper College and the Poison Spider Track Club. his wife, he is survived by four sons, Randy, Frank, Mike and Ken, and two daughters, Mrs.

Thursday at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, with the Rev. Tim Solon of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church officiating. Friends may call until 8:30 p.m. Wednesday after which time the casket will be closed.

CREVISTON Services for Carl J. Creviston were held at 3p.m. Monday at Bustard Funeral Home, with the Rev. John Gerberding of Grace Lutheran Church officiating. Military rites were accorded by VFW Post Burial was in Highland Cemetery.

Pallbearers were David M. Wales, Arthur J. David M. Wales James Wales, Michael McElrad and Ricky E. Knapp.

Spencer died Dec. 1 at his home in Casper following a long illness. He was born Nov. 29, 1908, in the area of the Pathfinder Dam in Natrona County. Mr.

Spencer was a plumber and had worked for several plumbing shops in Casper and had retired several years ago. He was a Wyoming sportsman, an avid fly fisherman and big game hunter. On April 17, 1930, he married Leona (Billie) Quick at Newcastle. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Robert D. Spencer of Casper; one daughter, Mrs.

Robert (Betty) Rainey of Rock Springs; two brothers, Melburn Spencer and Frank Spencer, both of Casper; seven grandchildren and seven great children. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Raymond and William; and a son, Raymond Bryden Spencer. Friends may call at Memorial Chapel until 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, after which time the casket will be closed. Joseph Fordyce NEWCASTLE Funeral services for Joseph S.

Fordyce, 65, will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, with Pastor Norm Sears and Bryan Clark -70 Mr. Fordyce died Nov. 28 at Porter Memorial Hospital at Denver following a lengthy illness. He was born May 1, 1915, at Hardin County, Iowa, and was the son of Edward and Margaret Fordyce.

He attended school at Buckeye, Iowa until he was 12 years old. When he was 13, the family moved to the Upton area where his family homesteaded. On June 20, 1935, he married Mary V. Noe at Custer, S.D. The couple had lived on the family ranch since that time.

Mr. Fordyce had driven the school bus for the Upton School District No. 7 for 22 years. He had also worked on other area ranches. Besides his wife, he is survived four sons, Tommy, Wayne and John, all of Newcastle, and Joe R.

(Buzz) Fordyce of Windsor, one daughter, Mrs. Lewis (Mary Jo) Fawcett of Basin; one sister, Nora Burdick and a niece, Opal Hinton, both of Iowa Falls, Iowa; and a greatnephew, Donald B. Hinton of Iowa. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

The McColley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Iva Robinson SHERIDAN Graveside services for Iva B. Robison, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Sheridan Municipal Cemetery. Mrs.

Robinson died Saturday at Eventide Nursing Home at Sheridan: Born in Fairport, she was the youngest of ten children of Coridan and Myrea Hoskins. In 1908, she married Sam Robison and they ranched on Cat Creek and the Birney areas near Sheridan until 1951, when they moved to Sheridan. Her husband died in 1952. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Edna Jones of Sheridan; and several nieces and nephews.

Regular meeting in council chambers. Open to the public. Glenna Johnson CODY Services for Glenna L. Johnson, 86, will' be held at 2 p.m, Tuesday at Ballard Funeral Home. Mrs.

Johnson died Nov. 27 at Carbon County Health Center at Red Lodge, Mont. Born in Adaton, and wast the daughter of John and Elizabeth Messenger Spaulding, and came to Cody with her parents in 1900. She married James A. Johnson in 1914 at Cody.

He died in 1946. Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Eagles and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliaries. Survivors are two sons, Jack of Rawlins and Elmo of Powell; a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Flynn of Yuma, a brother, Lloyd Spaulding of Hendersonville, N.C.; two sisters, Mrs.

Ina Studebaker and Mrs. Muriel Miller, both of Cody; and several grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Dr. Victor Showalter POWELL Graveside services for Dr.

Victor F. Showalter, 65, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Crown Hill Cemetery in Powell. Dr. Showalter died Sunday morning at West Park County Hospital at Cody.

Born in Barnesville, Ohio, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam J. Showalter. In 1965, he married Judy Nardins at Muskogee, Okla.

He was professor of 1 music at Northwest Community College at Powell from 1969 to 1977, and was a member of many professional music organizations. Dr. Showalter was a World War II veteran. He was also an advisor and counselor in Boy Scouts. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Sid of Chadron, Neb.

and Jan of the family home in Powell; and one grandson. The Easton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Betty J. Corbitt DOUGLAS Graveside services for Betty J. Corbitt, 53, will be held at 11 a.m.

Tuesday at the Douglas 1 Park Cemetery. Father Philip Cobibraro will officiate. Mrs. Corbitt died Saturday at Cheyenne Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was born Feb.

16, 1927, at Mason City, and was the daughter of Richard and Maude Gates Stoddard. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. JoD'leen Nesmith and Mrs. Judy K. Bortch, both of Salt Lake City; three brothers, Web and Pat Stoddard, both of Douglas, and Ivan Stoddard of Casper; two sisters, Mrs.

'Fred (Evelyn) Grant of Glenrock and Mrs. Marcia Boe of Bakersfield, and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Paul, during World War II.
