The baccalaureate service will be held in Hammerschmidt Chapel at 11 a.m. The sermon will be delivered by Dr. Eugene S. Webrli, professor of New Testament history at Eden Theological Seminary, Webster Groves, and former chairman of the religion department at Elmhurst. The Chapel Choir will sing, and Duane Werner, a senior, will play the organ.

The graduation exercises at 3 p.m. will be held outdoors, weather permitting. Seats will be set up in the central mall of the campus. THE commencement speaker will be Dr. Ben Mohr Herbster, president of the i Church of Christ.

Dr. Herbster was a key figure in the formation in 1957 of the United Church of Christ through the union of the Evangelical and Reformed Church with the General Council of the Congregational Christian churches. He is a member of the General Board of the National Council of Churches, and was an accredited visitor to the First Assembly of the World Council of Churches in Amsterdam and a delegate to the Second Assembly in Evanston, 111., and the Third Assembly in New Delhi, India.
