Ron's friend, Jim Fattes of Wood Dale, accompanied the Rawlingses. Ron will be stationed at Camp Pendleton, where he will attend communications and electronics school. While in California the Raw- lingses. visited Jim's aunt, Mrs. Bess Shepard.

Although Robin became very ill over the weekend, she is much improved. Ed Steininger and daughters, Mary Ann, Carol and Barbie, spent a pleasant weekend at Camp Duncan in Volo. The Steiningers joined other Indian Princesses and their fathers for hikes, games, tobogganing and ice skating. It was Barbie's first Jack Mitchell at Meade Electric and what started to be a small affair resulted in 50 men attending the farewell dinner at Charlotte's in Chicago on Friday. The restaurant has a French cafe atmosphere and the evening was a great success.

Mr. Mitchell plans to move to Florida after his retirement. Chris and Lee Lasorso hosted a dinner party honoring their son, Buddy, on his 19th birthday last week. Special guests were his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.

FRANCES Orsinger and son, Rick, enjoyed an interesting dinner guest last week, when Father Paul Koe-Tseng of Hong Kong, now teaching economics at Lewis College in Lockport joined them. Father Kao-Tseng has been in this country for six months and this was his first visit in an American home. He was fascinated with the electrical appliances, as well as the comfortable surroundings. Frank and Rita Cooper celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary Saturday with 13( guests, family members anc friends, who gathered at the VFW Hall. The Coopers were happy to have with them Frank's mother, Mrs. Paul Lindenberg as well as members of their original wedding party: maid honor, Mrs. Raymond Barthel; best man, Thomas Cooper; bridesmaids, Mrs. Walter Jones Mrs.

Judd Clockadale; flower girl, Mrs. Robert Flinn, and ringbearer, Duane Horndasch. The wedding party partici pated in a mock wedding cere mony and they said it was quite amusing to see the 6 foot ringbearer with a facsimile a pillow and the bridal bouque of something similar to palm leaves. The wedding party members surprised the Coopers with their impromptu show and each was presented with a corsage or boutonniere. The guests enjoyed cocktails a buffet supper and an evenini of dancing.

Frank Whaley of Addison called on Mrs. Philip Schneck Sunday, having just returned home from vacationing California and Texas. They visited Mr. and Mrs. Louis Steffen and George Arney, frmer- iy of Bensenville and now residing in Monrovia, and iound them well.

Borg recently returned home from a three-week visit with his son, Donald Borg, and famly in Phoenix, Ariz. JANIS RICKER and brother, Marty Ricker, are among those on the sick list this week.
