(A345 Board Defers to Siegel on Auto Parking Leases Action on changes in the comprehensive i ordinance was deferred by the Arlington Heights village board Monday night. Village Atty. Jack Siegel told the board that he did not favor recommendations by the plan commission that the rules on the leasing of parking spaces from the village be spelled out in great detail.

"WE ARE BETTER off when we don't prescribe in minute detail," insisted Siegel. He said that the leasing provision had been set up to deal with hardship cases and was not intended for general use by anyone conducting a business or owning a building in the central business district.
