In West Pacific Paul E. Adklns, radioman seaman apprentice, USN, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Adklns, 352 Marlon Wheeling, Is serving aboard the attack aircraft carrier USS Oris- fcany operating with the U.S. Seventh Fleet in the Western Pacific.

The 7-month cruise, which began In late May, Is scheduled to take the Oriskany and hor crew to Japan, Hong Kong, Formosa and the Philippines. scheduled to return to the states In December. In Hawaii Marine Pic. Robert P. Werle son of Mr.

and Mrs, Robert Werle, 402 E. North Itasca, Is serving with Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron at the Marine Corps Air Station, Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. He reported to Kaneohe Bay May 25. The air station is the home of the First Marine Brigade, a combat-ready, air-ground fighting team of the Pacific Fleet Marine Force. enlisting in January 1959, Werle attended Elmhurst college.
