Bensenville Sorority Sponsors Movie At Center Theatre Eta Zeta chapter of Sigma Phi sorority, Bensenville will sponsor the movie "Happy Years" Wednesday, April 11 The picture, starring Dean Stockwell and Daryl Hickman, will be shown at the Center theatre. The chapter hopes to have Rev. and Mrs. Charles Garringer, minister and teacher from the school in Kentucky which the sorority adopted, as their guests of honor that night. The Gentlemen's auxiliary will help sell tickets and usher.

White Pines Get Together The White Pines group enjoyed a potluck supper at Tioga school last Saturday evening. The committee, consisting of Mesdames Munch, McCormick, Wenzel, Borecki, Lange, Samuels and Kemp, planned a sensational evening with movies and Easter treats children and entertainment for the adults. church of Bensenville is giving their third annual roller skating party Monday, April 9, at the Arlington Heights Roller rink. The public is welcome and tickets may be obtained from any member of the Y. P. League. Girl Scouts of Troop spent their meeting time cleaning up their troop meeting place for a requirement for "My Troop" badge in Community Life field.

The girls were refreshed by a drink of soda pop that the troop provided. Troop 2 Girl Scouts took time out from the study of their community to have a program of folk dances and Scout songs. Browjiie Troop 4 tried their ingenuity at designing and making bunnies as Easter favors of cotton and straws. The girls compared their list of birds they had 'seen so far this spring. Troop Committee Training session will be given April 12 at 7:45 p.

m. at Tioga school for all leaders, co-leaders, troop committee members and interested mothers. This is a single session only. It will include effectiveness o'l troop committees, a review of the objectives of Girl Scouting that troop committees will '-now what Girl Scouting is real- trying to do for girls. The relationship of troop com- leaders, parents and sponsors will bs shown.

The job of the troop committee will be described in detail as well as suggestions of ways of work, methods of selection or appointment, terms of office, etc. The responsibilities of troop committee members to neighborhood meetings will be given. It is important that leaders and troop committee members attend together. This training can do much to strengthen the troops in Bensenville. Red Cross Drive Ends April I The Bensenville Red Crosj 1951 Fund drive closes April 1.

"April Fool" was the theme of the party that followed the business meeting, and games and inedible "food," were features of the social part of the evening.
