Mrs. Fred Millen and two children of Littleton, N. came Wednesday to visit the former's sister, Mrs. A. R.

Me- he married Ella J. White and arrangements were being made for a family gathering to celebrate their golden wedding when Mr. Morrill was stricken with his last illness. Mr. Monill was a veteran of the civil war, enlisting in Co.

10th Vt. Vol. He served two years and 11 months and was wounded in the battle of Cold Harbor. Mr. Morrill is survivetl by his wife and six sons, Alden, George, Calvin and Joseph of Danville and John and Hamilton of Barnet.

Another son, died fifteen years ago. He leaves one sister, Mrs. William Wallace of St. Johnsbury. Mr.

Morrill's death was hastened by the accident causing the death of his son's wife, Mrs. John Morrill, at St. Johnsbury a few weeks ago. Mr. Morrill's life was spent in Danville and Barnet where he was' an upright citizen, raising a large family of sons of whom the community is proud.

The funeral was held at the house Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock, Rev. M. II. Sharpies officiating and the burial was at Danville. nut Miss Dorothy Fairbanks resumed her work as teacher in the high school of Littleton, N.
