Atkinson-Blank Wedding Rites Announced The marriage of Miss Shirley Jeanne Blank, daughter of Mr. end Mrs. Ralph Blank, ED 2 to Ronald Lee Atkinson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald J.

Atkinson, 4 Mt. Pleasant Street, was solemnized Friday, April 25 in St. Michael's Catholic. Church with Rev. Regis P.

Larkin performing the double ring ceremony. Mrs. Eleanor Dlshong was vocalist, accompanied by Mrs. Genevieve Goldsworthy, who also played the wedding marches. Miss Donna Joyce Blank, Bister of the bride, was maid of honor and Leonard Winner, Consol Village, was best man.

Raymond Crowe was an usher. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white lace over satin and net underskirts topped with a large jacket and a headpiece trimmed with seed pearls and a fingertip length veil. She wore lace embroidered tnits and carried a bouquet of red roses nnd white snapdragons. The maid of honor wore a pink satin gown with overskirts of net topped with a jacket of pink lace and a seed pearl headpiece with a shoulder length veil. She carried a bouquet of pink roses and yellow snapdragon.

Mrs. Blank, mother of the bride, was attired in an aqua crepe dress with, black accessories and wore a corsage of pink rosebuds. Mrs. Atkinson, mother of the bridegroom. wore a navy blue dress with natural accessories, and a corsage of pink rosebuds.

A reception was held at the of Hall, East Main Street. The bridal table was decorated with a three tiered wedding cake topped with a miniature bride and bridegroom. View Drive, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Jolley, became the bride of Leo C. Boyd, son of Mrs. Eva Perry, 14 South Chase Street, yesterday in a ceremony at noon in St.

Patrick's Catholic Church. Rev. Charles W. Bogan, pastor of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Lonaconing, officiated.

The church was decorated with white gladioli, carnations, and palms. S. Sgt. George F. Kirby sang Schubert's "Ave Maria," "Mother At Thy Feet I'm Kneeling," and Panis Angelicus accompanied by Sister Acquinette who also played the traditional wedding marches.

Mrs. Edward R. was matron of honor for her sister while Miss Mary C. Coyle was bridesmaid. Edward R.

Burkey, brother-in- law of the bride, was best man and Nelson Sellers and Robert Burkey were ushers. The bride, who was given in marriage by her uncle John P. Schell- haus, was attired in a gown of duchess satin fashioned in medieval style with sheer yoke outlined with seed pearl embroidery, basque bodice, long fitted sleeves and full skirt, featuring a bustle back, terminating in a full court train. Sgt. Grove At Accident Mrs. George Robert Gebert Bachrach Bride-Elect Honored With Shower, Party Miss Helen E. Jenkins was honored a recent evening with a surprise miscellaneous shower by Miss Esther Engle and Miss Elaine Savage at the latter's home, 102 West College Avenue, Frostburg. The house was decorated with pink and yellow roses and the bridal theme was carried out in a large pink and green parasol which was suspended from the chandelier.

A large three tiered cake decorated a miniature bride and bridegroom centered the table. The ice cream was molded in the form of wedding bell. Guests were Mesdames Francis Cook, Alice Engle, James D. Jenkins, James Lohr, Oscar Savage, Olin Savage and Misses Fatsy Eiigle. Mary Lou Hawkins, Dorothy Kerr, Eleanor Kerr, Helen McCulloh, Mary Ann McCulloh, Mary Jane McDonald and Betty Willis Williams.

Gebert will reside at Oakwood Garden Apartments, Lansdale. The marriage of Miss Eleanor Lurene Schlosnagle, daughter of Howard Schlosnagle, and the late Mrs. Schlosnagle of Accident, and Donald Eugene Grove, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest L.

Grove, of Martinsburg, took place in the Accident Church of the Brethren June 7. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Arthur Scrogum, Cumberland, assisted by the Rev. Connell Chaney, Accident, before a setting arranged with ferns, spring flowers, and candles. The wedding music was presented by Mrs.

She is employed by the West- inizhouse Electric Pittsburgh. He is a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity and played intermural softball and basketball. Mr.

Blake if also a musician. He is employed by the graduate student program with the Westlnghouse Electric Corporation, Pittsburgh. Mr. and Mrs. Blake are residing at 5545 Forbes Street, Pittsburgh.
