McKenna, 13 votes. Mr. Stuart had held the poet of deputy reave for several years. bitt In 11X4 was defeated ty nr. Nixon.

Alexander Dow, the veteran of the Carleton County Council, had been returned as reeve by acclamation. Councillors elected were: Mr. j. E. Woods.
