HURLEY, Robert Hay- of Essex, CT died on June 13, 2008, at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown, CT after a long struggle with complications from a stroke he suffered on May 1, 2008. Robert was born in Portland, ME on November 1, 1927 and grew up in Cape Elizabeth, Maine, Dorchester, MA and Brookline, MA. World Robert served in the US Navy in 1952 from Harvard of War Il and graduated in Architecture and Design. He worked as a Color Consultant and Designer for General Motors, Formica and several wall covering companies. He retired as an independent consultant in 2001.

He was predeceased by his wife of 52 ert is years, Jeanne A. Hurley. Roband survived by his four children their families: Deborah A. Hurley, Upton, MA, Karen E. Hurley, and Upton, MA, Roberta J.

Hurley, husband Christopher Curran of Ivoryton, CT, and Robert H. Hurley Jr. Australia. and Kate Robert Hurley of Sydney, has three grandchildren, Sarah Jeanne Curran, Sydney, Ivoryton, CT, Australia Henry and James James Hurley, Rob ert Hurley, Sydney, Australia. Robert law is also Elizabeth survived Perrin by his sister in of Falmouth, MA.

Robert was a loving husband, father, uncle and grandfather and leaves behind a legend. Robert was a lover of story telling, music, fishing, boating and reading. Thomas Sons FH Walpole 508-668-0154 KELLETT, Mirle Amory, MD 88, of York Harbor, ME, formerly' of Wellesley, MA, died peacefully at his home surrounded by his family after a brief battle with cancer. He was born in Methuen, MA, the 2nd son of John George and Mabel Turner Kellett and was preby his only sibling John Heyworth. Kellett. Mirle was a School in graduate of Searles High from Norwich Methuen and graduated University in 1941, commissioned as a 2nd lieutenant in the Army Reserve. Further School education at McGill University of Medicine was followed by a Residency in Radiology at the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital.

He joined the staff of the New England Deaconess Hospital, BoS ton, where became the Chief of the Department and retired in 1975 in order to return to his twin passions, practicing clinical radiology and living in his beloved southern Maine. For the next sixteen years he practiced at the Henrietta B. Goodall and the York Hospitals. In retirement he was able to further develop his enjoyment of gardening, as well as pursue his life long love of learning. One of his great joys was sharing his special home on the rocky coast with family and friends.

Dr. Kellett was predeceased by his two loving wives; Virginia Tatham Kellett in 1978, and Virginia Williams Kellett in 1998. He is survived by his two sons and their families: Mirle A. Kellett, Jr. M.D.

and wife Wendy of Yarmouth, ME and their daughter Jessica, Jeff and Liz Kellett of Walpole, ME and their children Heather and Bob. Edith was an Acquisitions Librarian at the Countway Library at The Harvard Medical School in Boston, for over thirty years. She had made her home in the Boston area for the last 40 years, she She was a graduate in of Pomfret, Putnam CT. spent her youth High School and received a Bachelor's Degree in Lecture and Education and later received her Master's Degree in Library Science, all from Simmons College. Edith enjoyed traveling the US and Europe. She had a great love of nature and birds, over the years she supported many environmental causes and societies.

She leaves a sister-in-law Luranelle Kimball William; Dayville; nieces and nephews: Harold; Peter; Gwendolyn; Barry; Ruth; Robert; Kathy and their families; several cousins, her very close friends: Miriam Alleman of Boston; Lois McMullen of Newton, MA. She was predeceased by her sisters: Grace Chesters; Lillian Eck; brother: Walter Kimball and a nephew: Fred Chesters. She was the beloved wife of the late Stanley J. Kovalski, Sr. with whom she shared 59 years of marriage.

Born in Boston, MA she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Emma (Dell Donna) Tortorella. She lived in the South End for many years, moving to Wollaston where she resided for over 50 years before staying with her daughter in East Providence, RI. Mary loved her family, the bowling, dancing, her soaps, lottery, word searches and laughter. She was a member of the South Shore Bowlerettes and Catholic Women's Club at Sacred Heart Church in North Quincy. As her children were growing up, despite her fear of summers water, she enjoyed spending at Jones Beach in Wrentham, MA and Lake Winnipesaukee, NH.

As a devoted family woman she felt much joy when family gathered during the holidays and special occasions. Devout in her faith all her life, in her declining years she enjoyed her weekly Eucharistic visits from Fr. Peter DiTullio, Pastor, Sacred Heart in East Providence, RI. Mrs. Kovalski is survived by her beloved children, Stanley J.

Kovalski, Jr. and his wife Nancy of Wollaston, Joseph A. Kovalski and his companion Linda of Fall River, Lorraine M. Noyes and her husband Steve of Brockton, Donna M. Kovalski-Plamondon and her husband Bert, with whom she resided in east Providence, RI, Anthony M.

Kovalski and his wife Patricia of Duxbury. Nana as she was sO affectionately called by her family and friends alike, adored her 22 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren visits with these sparkle. Mahany was Past Deputy President of the Purity Rebekah Lodge in West Medford, MA. Mrs. Mahany had resided in Manchester for the past thirty years and was a member of St. Paul's Methodist Church. Members of her family include on son Jack Mahany, of Dianne Bartlett, NH; one daughter Mahany, of Sudbury, MA, two grandchildren and four great and four nephews.

She was 64 years old. Linda received a BA in Liberal Arts from Boston University. She worked as the Assistant Head Librarian at Boston University Law School until 1982.

She graduated from the New England School of Photography and operated the Linda McCauley Photography Studio in Cambridge for several years in the early 1990's. During that time she was an active member of Greater Boston Business Council in (GBBC). Except for her time spent was a field technician for New Enportrait photography, Linda gland Research Institutes from 1987 until 2003. She had a flair for interviewing research particitheir pants in their homes, eliciting observations about their lives for a wide range of studies on health and aging. She was among NERI's favorite technicians and once appeared on NOVA during an episode on women and aging.

In 2006-2007, Linda was the New Member Coordinator for the First Unitarian Church of Newton (FUSN). Linda's survivors include her spouse, Sheila Ardery, and her beloved sister Barbara McCauley, both of Newton, and many loving friends. John Reilly, Peggy Howley, Rosie Donovan, Reverend Gerald Reilly, CSSR, Michael and Ellen Reilly. Jim died in his home in Houston Texas, where he has lived for the past four years.

He was home after a brief illness and was surrounded by his beloved wife and adult children. Prior to that time, he had retired and lived in Fort Pierce, FL, where he enjoyed many good times with family friends. He was raised in Mission Hill, Boston, where he was active in the parish of Mission Church and eventually followed his older brother Gerry into seminary. He elected to leave the seminary before his final vows and graduated from St. Mary's College with a degree in philosophy and theology.

He met Patricia shortly after she emigrated from Ireland. in 1953, and they were married in 1955. He served in the USAF until 1956 and was discharged as a Master Sergeant. He subsequently had a very successful career in defense contracting working as regional, national international manager with United Technologies, Sylvania, LFE and as a consultant with E-systems. Jim will be remembered as a loving and devoted family man who cherished his faith family above all else.

He was kind generous to all who had the pleasure to know him and with his wife, opened his heart and his home to all. Jim enjoyed his many years in Marshfield, living there from 1964-1998. A good game of golf, deep sea fishing, clam and his infamous Fourth July bakes provide many fond memories. Mr. Reilly is lovingly survived by his grandchildren, Peter, Matthew Siobhan, Brendan, Patrick, Cory, Grace, Seamus, Katie, Meaghan, Colleen, Justine, Sarah, Ginger, Maggi, Noah, Joey, Jack, Jimmy, and his new great grand daughter, Aine.
