Of this number, 447 are on the of the Foreign Exchange Control Board for which! salaries are not given. The total of salaries for the remaining 3,149 employes in Ottawa is $2,440,630, making an approximate total of civil service salaries in Ottawa $22,000,000 per annum. Outside of Ottawa there are new employes and the aggregate of salaries is $2,599,214 plus 13443 for the staff the Comptroller of the Treasury on national defence work in London, England.
