Film Office boss The Massachusetts Office of Travel Tourism announced yesterday that Lisa Strout, a Lexington native and former director of the film division in New Mexico's Economic Development Department, has been chosen to take over the Massachusetts Film Office. Strout (inset), who stepped down from her position in New Mexico at the end of 2010 after serving for seven years, will start her job here on June 15. Films made in New Mexico during Strout's tenure include "No Country for Old Men," "3:10 to Yuma," and "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull." She also helped bring the comic book movie "The Avengers" to the state last month. Reached by phone in Santa Fe yesterday, Strout said that she's pleased to return to Massachusetts.
