Mrv Mottahedeh is principal speaker at the National Convention of the Baha'i World Faith being held at the Chateau Laurier this weekend.

Mrs. Mottahedeh, who "frankly admits" to being 58 years old, is propably one of the few people in North Am-erica bom into the Baha'i faith as was her husband. "Ours is the first religion that recognizes the equality of male and female," she says. "We also believe that every child must be and if it comes to a choice between a girl and a boy, we believe the girl should be educated. "Girls will be the mothers of the race, and if we have Ignorant furthers, we will have ignorant children."
