She was the beloved wife of the late John P. Clifford of West Harwich. She was born in Kane, PA and graduated from Kane High School. She served in the U.S.

Navy as a Radioman 2nd Class from 1942 until 1945. She was a member of the Women's Guild of Holy Trinity Church in West Harwich and a soloist with the Holy Trinity Choir.
