Bea Benaderet Worked to Perfect Cousin Pearl Role Comedienne Bea Benaderet, seen in the role of Cousin Pearl in the comedy series, Beverly Hillbillies," is a real pro in the opinion of creatorwriter-producer Paul -Henning, When Bea auditioned for the role her dialect was perfect for the role of a hillbilly social climber, with just the slightest tremor, which could concelyably have been brought 1 on by the fact that her relatives had just sold their oil-rich swamp for $25 million.
