Scout gift to county It's a tall Christmas tree at the Monroe County Courthouse and it was donated and decorated by Stroudsburg area Brownie and Girl Scouts. The dOO decorations on the 20-foot-tall tree are the work of 300 Scouts who used discarded Christmas cards to make them. The tree was donated by Mrs. Stephen Matos, neighborhood chairman of Scouting in the Stroudsburg area. View of tree from the top is at right.
