Home front leaders have warned Norwegians for the past 48 hours to expect terror "on a scale hitherto unknown" the spokesman said. Upward of 200,000 German troops are stationed in Norway, the spokesman said, and are "open targets for Norwegian patriots once the shooting starts." British Take Greek Town Athens, Nov.

3 British units, pursuing the withdrawing Germans in northwestern Greece, have captured Phlorina, five miles from the Yugoslav frontier, after inflicting casualties on enemy rearguards, Allied headquarters announced today. batteries. Japanese destroyers joined in hurling tracers and shells over the lone PT. "We kept right on into those searchlights at top speed until we were 1,500 yards from the battleship," Green related. "Then we let go three torpedoes, swerving away from the lights. We don't know what we hit, but we heard a loud explosion and our boat shuddered from the concussion.

"We didn't stand around to watch because it was the first time a PT took on a whole enemy task force and we wanted to live to tell the story." Claims Destroyer Hit. Amico said the PT shot its last torpedo at a destroyer, scoring a clean hit. Then the tiny boat had a brush with Jap planes which zoomed into the chase, dropping bombs two feet from the PT's bow, killing one man and injuring four others. In the same battle the PT on which Henry Marzewski, of Jersey City, is gunner's mate, tackled a Jap cruiser. Two torpedoes from the PT forced the cruiser into a zigzag course which temporarily threw the other Japanese warships out of battle formation.

The cruiser put up a terrific barrage, but Marzewski's boat escaped behind a smokescreen. Enroute to base Marzewski shot down a Zero. In another part of the strait, a PT skippered by Lieut.
