Able MOUNTAINHOME V'The Pajama musical blockbuster (hat ran on Broadway and brought forth from the critics and the public alike, unanimous praise, will play a two-week engagement at the Pocono Playhouse. final offering of the season will open after Lalxr Day, Tuesday night, September 5 and play through Sunday night, September 18, with two special performances added lo Iho schedule, the first at 4 p.m., Sunday, September 11, and the second, and final performance of the season, Sunday, September 18. The delirious, daffy musical with a score by Richard Adler and Jerry Ross and a book by hit-maker George Abbott is an adaptation of the best seller novel "7J4 cents" by Richard BisseU.

Set in The Slcep-Tite Pajama factory, the tug of war between the union members and the bosses is the spring board from which this light-hearted spoof is launched. When a factory official comes out from.his office to complain, "The tops are fifteen minutes behind (he bottoms" one hilarious scene after another follows. Sparked win show-stoppers, (he score includes "Once A Year Day," "Hey, There" and the long time hit "Hernando's Hideaway." A high point of the show is the ballet "Steam Heat" which, in this production, will be choreographed by Paul Glover and danced by Judy Guyll, Bud Fleming and Joe Nelson. The trio have between them, a dozen Broadway credits. Paul Ukena heads the all-star cast in the role of Sid Sorokin, the factory superintendent.

A Playhouse favorite, Ukena is remembered as the star of "Kismet," "Kiss Me Kate" and last season as the King in Mrs. Steven's touring production of "The King and The rubber-faced, six-foot comedy man, Will B. Able will be 'on hand for the role of the efficiency expert. One of the most amusing scenes will feature Will Able and a tussel with a recalcitrant zipper. Another popular Playhouse player, Muriel Birlchead, will be seen as Mabel.
