In view of these agencies, how evident it is that no one medicinal root, herb, mineral or chemical, or any dozen of them can cure all diseases. Appreciating this, we have after great cost, study and labor, prepared a Regular System of Remedies for the principal diseases each disease having its appropriate remedy. No ailments afflict mankind more generally, and none are more productive of general disease, than irregularities of the bowels. Habitual constipation and the many evils arising from it mentioned above, have been "doctored for" and "experimented on for ages, but never has there been an article which always effects a cure before the German Cathartic Lozenges. They have been tried in hundreds of cases where the patient had been afflicted for years, with always the same result a most perfect, pleasant and natural cure. To the many hundreds of our citizens who are constantly troubled with these ailments we would again say, try these Lozenges.

SPECIAL KOTICKfe. ASTOUNDIBTQ REVELATION'S Two scientific publications are In the Held against the hair dyes of which lead Is the basis. The "New York Bfedleal Oaiette" and "The Journal of Chemistry" bitterly denounce them. Vet the hair may be safely dyed. Hare you seen PROF.

CHILTON'S TESTIMONY, founded on a careful analysis, and certifying that Ciistadoro's Excelsior Dye is not only a first class article for changing the color of the hair, but ABSOLUTELY SAFE. CRIST ADORO'S HAIR PRESERVATIVE, as a Dressing, acts like a charm on the Hair after Dyeing. Try it. janlS lmdiw A HUMBUG How often we hear this expression from persons reading advertisements of patent medicines, and in nine cases out of ten they may be right. It is over 22 years since I introduced Dr.

Tobias' Venetian Liniment to the public. I had no money to advertise it, so I left It for sale with a few druggists and storekeepers through a small section of the country, many taking It with great reluctance but I told them to let anyone have It, and if It did not do all I stated on my pamphlet, no one need pay for It. In some stores two or three bottles were taken on trial by persons present. I was by many thought crazy, and that would be the last they would see of me. But I knew my medicine was no humbug.

In about two months I began to receive orders for more Liniment some calling it my valuable Liniment, who had refused to sign a receipt when I left It at their store. Now my. sales are millions of bottles yearly, and all for cash. I warrant it superior to any other medioine for the oure of Croup, Dlar rhcea, Dysentery, Colic, Vomiting, Spasms and Sea sickness, as an internal remedy. It is perfectly innocent to take internally see oath accompanying each bottle and externally for Chronic Rheumatism.

L. SCOVILL is the Inventor of several medical preparations which have become very popular, and have been liberally used. Among his Inventions are "Hall's Balsam for the Lungs" and "Liverwort and Tar." For the past six years a better Lung remedy has been affered to the public. Head the following letter from Dr. Scovill referring to it Messrs.

J. N. HARRIS Gents I make the following statement from a perfect conviction and knowledge of the benefits of Alien' I.uiifc Balsam in curing the most deep seated Pulmonary Cohsumption I have witnessed its effects on the young and the old, and I can truly say that it Is by far the best expectorant remedy with which I am acquainted. For Coughs, and all the early Btages of Lung complaints, I believe it to be a certain cure, and If every family would keep it by them, ready to administer upon the first appearance of disease about the Lungs, there would be very few cases of fatal consumption. It oauses the phlearm and matter to raise, without irritating those deligate organs (the Luogs), and without producing constipation of the bowels.

It also gives strength to the system, stops the night sweats, and changes all the morbid Becretions to a healthy state. Yours respectfully, A. L. SCOVILL. Sold by all Medicine Dealers.
