Prom the Htoeltou Jicportor. Hits has bee a busy week, every de parlinont running to its lull capacity. The Bessemer mill last week produced 3,897 tons of Btcel ingots. The rail mill turned tons of various patterns of steel rails last week. The one furnace at the open hearth is undergoing rcpuirs while the other is running as usual.

The foundry is busy on castings for the works, lamp pottts, etc. Tho frog, switch and interlocking department is running on full time with plenty of orders ahead. The iiiT liaiit mill is a very busy place. Tho following is the tonnage of tho departments named for tho month of September: Bessemer mill, 13,023 tons; Tail mill, 10,007 tons; blunt furnace, No. 1, 8311 tons; blast furnace, No.

2, 3,063 tons; blast furnaco, No. 3, 4,030 tons; blast furnaco, No. 4, 3,445 tons; bloom lug mill, Tho shipments for tho month were: II, B81 tons of rails and 2,018 tons of billets and hlalm. Tho third cupola was put to work in the besHomer mill on Thursday. It has been idle sinco last June an indication of more prosperous times.

Orders havo been booked which will keep the bessemcr, blooming and rail mills running to their fall cupicity during the entire month. The Cuban ore just roceived has been used in No. 3 furnaco and tound to yield (13 per cent, of iron. It contains less phosphorous than any oro now used at the furnaces. There were 2,430 men on tho pay rolls of tho company for tho month of September.

Louisa Watson Anderson, widow of the late Dr. Anderson, proprietor of tho now celebrated Bedford Springs. Mrs. Anderson has been an invalid since early spring, when she had a severe paralytic attack. Hlio was a woman of great energy, amiable and generous, and her (lemiHo will do a creat loss to tho com munlty of which She was so long an ornament and so greatly beloved.
