THLR8DAY EVEN1NG. XQT. 8. 1904. Made to Leave Hotel.

After having received aeveral peremp tory notices to regiater aa man and wife or leave the botel, Harry Fimball Thaw, of Pittabunr, a brother of the Yarmoutb, enjoyinganincomeoi ayear, left the Cunberland, at Broad way and Fifty-fourth atreet, New lorli. yesterdav with Florence Evelyn Nesbitt a chorus girl and artiat'a mode), whom he returned from fcurope, but tnarriage with whom he denied. Miaa Neabitt, in company with her maid a rosy cheeked Iriah girl, had apent the night in a auite of four rooraa at the Cumberland. Mr. Thaw had occupied a aiugle roow at some diatance from the auite.

Yeaterday morning Edward R. proprietor of the excluaive apart ment hotel, aent Mr. Henderaon, his clerk, who had asaigned roms to the Thaw party, with a final and deciaive ultimatum of the "regiater or get out" order Mr. Henderaon returned in five minutea and reported that Mr. Thaw bad aaid he would get out aa aoon as he had packed hia grips.

Miaa Neabitt re mained with irieuds last nigbL Mr. Thaw left for Pittaburg in responae to a telephone mesaage from hia mother. By the will of young Mr. Thaw'a father he waa cutoff, untilnearing the40 year mark, witban iucoroeof only $2,500, inatead ofthe $80,000, which would nat urally have been hia ahare. Hia mother, however, prevailed upon the other mem beraof the family, and a compromiae waa effected by which be waa allowed to enjoy the full $80,000 a year.

Attackon Jewrlsh Qnartera. The Berlin Tageblatt publiahea a let ter from Mohiloff, Rusaia, in which it is atated that the rioting there incident to the roobilization of the reservista lasted twodaya, October 23 and 24. Aa a reault of the attack on the Jewish quarter, tbe Tageblatt'a correspondent aaya twenty Jewa are in a hoapital and 100 are lying wounded in their bouaea. Two govern ment officials have been aent to in veatigate the afTair. According to a semi-ofhcial atatement publiabed in St.

Peteraburg, foreign reports of reaer viat riots are much exaggerated. There have been no conflita between reaerviata and officers, but owing to the authorities closiug the apirit ahopa, the reservista re aorted tothe Jewa for brandy, and then pillaged the Jewa' ahopa because of the high pricea charges for the liquor. The bitter feeling againat the Jewa was further excitedby mauy ofthemdeserting, necea aitating the filling of their places by Killed In Fight. John Long, 32 yeara of age, waa ahot throughthebrainatlnman, Tueaday night and instantly killed ag the reault ofa deaperate encounter be? tween two Long brothera on one aide and two Dolcon brothera on the other. Braasknuckles and blackjacka were free lyused.

Iu defenseof his brother, who bad been knocked senaeleas withablack jack, John Long had attacked Henry Dolaonwithbrasa knuckles. Robert Dol Bon, it is alleged, placed a rcvolver against Long's head and fired. Dolson fled to the mountains and has not been captured. All the partiea are Tennes seeana. The tragedy grew out of an old grudge.

Arrest. J. A. Gulledge, of Verbeua, waa twiee in the hoapital from a severe caae of piles i-ausing 24 tumora. After doetora and all remediea Bueklen's Arnica Salve quickly arrested further inllamniation and cured him.
