Fight fans who delight in the game of swat, who shriek their enthusiasm as tw healthy-bodied chaps exchange punches, will have their fill next Tuesday night at the Garden Theater when the Buffalo Social Club will stage its second tryout night. There will be at least ten four-round bouts, which means forty rounds of boxing.

If some of the contests are speedily terminated by knockout punches, the management will fill in with other bouts, as the applicants for permission to participate in the tryouts have been numerous. That there is no dearth of youngster, who would seek fame and glory in the roped arena, is amply demonstrated by the large number who have applied for the privilege of giving somebody a beating or taking one themselves. Manager George Rider and Matchmaker Bllven have been pressed to the limit in their endeavor to weed out the poor ones and pick only the beet for the entertainment of the spectators. Tryouts and amateur tourneys al-, ways develope some promising talent. The last show proved beyond doubt that Buffalo has an abundance of good boxing amateurs, who, If properly coached and managed, undoubtedly would make good in the ring.

Annual Tournament for Five, Two-Man and Individual Contests to Be Rolled on Kumpf's Alleys, The first annual tournament for the city ten-pin championship in five-man, two-man and individual competition will be held during the next two weeks under the auspices of the Buffalo Bowling Association on Kumpf Brothers' alleys.
