In Mt. Hope Cemetery SOROKOFF In Everett, Dec. 3, Walter M. Alden Guild, 76 Retired family doctor in Grafton Dr. Alden Guild of Westborough, a retired family doctor and state medical examiner, died Friday in St.

Vincent Hospital in Worcester. He was 76. Dr. Guild was born in Grafton, where he lived before moving to Westborough 15 years ago. A 1934 graduate of Wilbraham Academy and a 1938 graduate of Wesleyan University, he earned his medical degree from Tufts University in 1942.

After serving in the Army Air Corps during World War II, he entered the Medical Corps and was discharged with the rank of major. In 1946, he returned to Grafton, where he continued the private medical practice begun by his father. He also served as a state medical examiner, retiring from both positions in 1975. From 1976 until 1983, he served as physician-in-charge at the emergency room of Hahnemann Hospital in Worcester. He leaves his wife, Margaret (Ferguson); a daughter, Virginia A.

Guild of Boston; two sons, Robert F. of Englewood, N.J., and David A. of Grafton; and five grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Evangelical Congregational Church in Grafton.

Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Grafton. Kenneth L. Tye, 40 Financial analyst, fund-raiser Kenneth Leon Tye, an active fund-raiser for cystic fibrosis research, died yesterday in New England Medical Center after a long struggle with the disease. He was 40 and lived in Newton. Born in Boston, Mr.

Tye was educated in the Nowton school system and graduated from Tufts College in 1974. He received his master's degree from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College in 1976. Mr. Tye dedicated his life to raising funds for cystic fibrosis and was involved with experimental drugs for a cure of the disease. He served for several years on the local Cystic Fibrosis Foundation board of directors.

Despite his illness, Mr. Tye led an active life. He worked as a financial analyst for Bechtel C6rp. and for Dunkin' Donuts for four years before joining his family's business, Tye Associates of Needham. Mr.

Tye leaves his parents, ner and Lila (Sweet) Tye of Newton; a brother, Sherpard Tye of Framingham; a niece and a nephew. Services will be held at 2 p.m. today in Stanetsky Memorial Chapels in Brookline. Burial will be in Mish-kan Tefila Memorial Park, West Roxbury. Mark T.

Burns, 39 Radio producer and musician Mark T. Bums of Fairhaven, a radio producer and musician, died Friday in an automobile accident on Interetate 195 in Fall River. He was 39 and formerly of Somerville. i Born in Weymouth, Mr. Burns was raised and educated in Rockland.

He was a 1971 graduate of Rockland High School and a 1975 graduate of Emerson College. He was production director for radio station WCTK in New Bedri ford, where he had previously worked as a disc jockey. He also! worked as a disc jockey at dance! clubs in the Providence area. As a professional musician, Mr, Bums played drums in several area bands, including Spur of the Moment, and was a country music singer. He was a member of the Massachusetts Country Music Association and the Musicians Union in Leominster.

He leaves his mother, Eleanor (Keane) of Marshfield; a sister, Lyn A. of Marshfield; his fiancee, Meredith A. Coady of Fairhaven; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass will be said Wednesday at 9 a.m. in Holy Family' Church in Rockland.

Burial will be in Holy Family Cemetery. William H. Damon, 72 Was FBI agent, businessman William H. Damon, a former FBI agent and Concord Friday at his Concord home. He was 72.

Bom in Concord, Mr. Damon graduated from Concord High School in 1937 and later from Syracuse University, where he was a member "of ROTC. During World War II, he served with the US Army Transportation Coips and the Army Air Corps, flying missions over the India-Burma theater. After the war, Mr. Damon served five years as a special agent with the FBI.

He later joined his family's business, Concord Woodworking, where he eventually became vice president and director. In 1971 he formed DCom Associates, a marketing and sales film, where he worked until his retirement in 1986. He was also a former member of the Concord Finance Committee and helped organize the town's bicentennial celebration in 1975. He leaves his wife, Elizabeth three daughters, Joan Damon Bero of Carlisle, Barbara Jane Damon of Concord, and Cynthia Wighton Damon of Concord; two sons, Richard Gibson Damon of GIVE THE GLOBE FOR THE HOLIDAYS! Stuart White Knox, 83 Was Conn, hospital director Stuart White Knox of West Dennis, a retired executive director of Gaylord Hospital in Wallingford, and the Connecticut Hospital Association, died Friday in Massachusetts General Hospital after a brief illness. He was 83. Born in Springfield, Mr.

Knox received his bachelor's degree from Union College in Schenectady, N.Y., in 1931 and his master's degree from the Bentley School of Accounting and Finance in Boston in 1942. From 1943 to 1946, Mr. Knox served as a 1st lieutenant in the Army Medical Service Corps. After his military service, he was a guest lecturer in epidemiology and public health at Yale University School of Medicine, and was a partner with Knox Associates, an accounting firm. During his retirement, Mr.

Knox worked as a bookkeeper for Friend-ly's restaurants on Cape Cod. He also was a member of the West Dennis Library Board and the Visiting Nurse Association of Cape Cod. Mr. Knox leaves his wife, Dorothy (Hewitt); a daughter, Andrea White Knox Kuehn of Minnetonka, a brother, Charles H. of West Dennis; and.
