West Berlin police said. It was the second kidnaping in 24 hours. Fnday night fhe Communis1 border guards lured two 'een-age West Berlin girls into Eastern territory before they shot and wounded one and kidnaped the other.

The incidents sent East- West tensions soaring sharply. Saturday kidnaping occurred on the West Berlin-East German border in the West Berlin district of Zehlendorf at 4:30 p.m. Police said the incident was witnessed by a third youth, a fnend of the two captured hoys and a group of West Berliners. The Communist guards were not bothered by the presence of witnesses or the fact it was daylight. Two Police said the Communist exact number could not be determined fired two shots at the third youth who managed to escape, The incident occurred in a area where the Communists barbed wire barricade is from 20 to 150 yards behind the actual boundary.

ROBERT G. CLATTERBlCK WESLACO Robert Gates Clatterhuck 87, died in Weslaco Friday night. He was a native of New Bloomfield, Mo. and moved to Weslaco in 1935 from Kansas City, Mo. Surviving are his brother, J.

W. Clatterhuck of Weslaco and four nieces. Funeral services will be in the Weldon Martin Chapel at 3 m. Sunday with the Rev. Ray Turner officiating.

died Fnday night in the home of her daughter in Combes. Mrs, Snavely was born July 25. 1872, in Summerville, pa She married to the late E. E. Snavely in Kay County, and moved to the Valley in 1909 A charter member of the First Methodist Church of Harlingen, she transferred her membership to the Combes Methodist Church in 1937 when she moved there following the death of her hushand.
