The bride wore a venise lace-trimmed sheer nylon empire gown over taffeta styled with a chapel-length train. Her veil of illusion fell from a lace headdress. Attending the bride were her cousins, Yvonne Stark, maid of honor, and Patricia Ecton, bridesmaid. Both are of Solomon. Best man and a Larry Grillo and Richard Caswell, both of Salina.

Other attendants: Michael and Diana Ecton, Solomon, and Mrs. Alan Ecton, Salina, cousins and sister-in-law of the bride; Thomas and Michael Rivers, Salina, the bridegroom's twin brothers; Terri Low and Rick Dunn, both of Salina, and Gregory Cox, Abilene. Gordon Meagher announce the engagement of their daughter, Peggy Jean, to George Frederick Deines, son of Mrs. Ruth Deines, Ness City, and the late Frederick Denies.
