The North Dakota State football team destroyed Prairie View 66-7 in the Bison's final tuneup for Missouri Valley Conference play. NDSU, coming off its bye, shut out the Panthers for 54:43, and the Bison scored on their first 10 possessions on the way to their second easy home win this season.

For NDSU, Century High School graduate Carson Wentz threw his first career touchdown pass, and Dickinson 1 Iigh School graduate Nate Moody had his first career touchdown reception. Brock Jensen was 13-for-15 for 192 yards and three touchdowns for NDSU, while Zach Vraa caught eight passes for 156 yards and two scores. The Bison defense was its usual dominating self, allowing 45 yards and one first down in the opening half. After the NDSU defense forced a three-and-out to start the game, the Bison got on the board first when Jensen hit Vraa for an 11-yard touchdown.
