Light Lines from Leisure Lodge By Kathy Adkmg This past week was really a full and rewarding one So much so, it has this whole column filled. It started out with the generosity of Ron WaU assistant manager) who gave us a lot of sugar free candy to put into our pinata. Each day of the except for Friday we had church services for the observation of Holy Week Those helping us prepare for Easter Sunday were: Reverends Bert Clayton, First United Methodist Church; Erv'ie Braun, St. Paul Lutheran Church; Martin, St. Catholic Church; A1 Becker, Quihi Bethlehem Lutheran Church and Norma Swank of the New Fountain Methodist Church All brought us closer to Christ and we thank each one for their time spent with us.

llev Braun also brought some ladies from their choir to sing for us and angels could not have done a better job. Tuesday afternoon, I had a very rewarding experience with J. A Rios' English class. 1 was asked to speak to his class for their career day I really enjoyed it and hope a few of them consider working in a field related to nursing home care. Red, blue, green and many other colors blurred our vision Wednesday afternoon Several of our residents and one special volunteer dyed 15 dozen eggs for our Elager egg hunt Friday.

Our special volunteer. Cleorge Voss, at one time a resident here, came in and helped out Wednesday with the eggs and Thursday making decorations for the walls. Thursday morning we had a cute surprise. The residents enjoyed a puppet show Oppf' 9 'r 6 MCiT Sa- cgii SALE RUMS APRIL 23 -21 CLEARANCE iERCNANDISE FROM MOST DEPARTMENTS! Good Friday morning we had our own service for the day. Kathy Britsch played the piano while Feona Nolan and I led everyone in song. We also read a few verses and sang all our favorite hymns.

That afternoon was the big event of the day, our Easter egg hunt. Lela Stout, bringing crocheted goodies and cookies, helped hide all those eggs and then helped with our party. Rosa Klee- ban. Carmen Perez, Joe Clewell, and Kim and Kirk Adlong helped everyone hunt the eggs and then helped serve refreshments. Renee Clewell also baked us some fine peanut butter cookies.

Ernie Elscamilla won the prize for having found the most eggs among the children and Mabel Brantley won for having found the most among our residents. All the residents really enjoyed taking a at the pinata that Isabel Rodriguez had given us. At in all, the afternoon wai filling (between cupcakei, cookies, etc.) and fun. Now that that week is gone, going to rest up for a few days before we tackle anything really But if you have a BIG idea, please feel free to come in and share it with us.
