The VIS team of Baker and Davis walked away with the division championship by defeating the Burkburnett team of Pearson and Wilson, 6-2, 6-2, in the finals.

Baker and Davis earned their 1-6, 7-6, 6-2 semifinal win over Ann Agnew and Lori Hrncirik of Vernon. In his semifinal round, Curry won over Wayne Watson of Iowa Park, 7-6, 7-5, 6-2, while Ladwig defeated Boyston of Holliday, 63, 6-4.

A SINGLES Laurie Yoakum advanced to the A singles quarterfinals in which she was defeated by Brown, 6-1, 7-5.
