Military manpower cuts are okayed WASHINGTON (UPI) The Senate Armed Services Committee disclosed Friday it has voted to reduce U.S. mili- manpower by 2 per cent, including 20 per cent cut in U.S. support troops in Europe over the next two years. The action came as the committee voted to cut $1.3 billion from the Pentagon's 1975 arms budget arid reversed a recommendation and left in $77 million for new high accuracy nu- clear missile warheads.
