A A NEWS GRAIN LIVESTOCK FINANCIAL Stock market up strongly Friday, Feb. 27-NEW YORK (AP) The stock market rocketed ahead again today as investors' enthusiasm was reigniled by hopeful statements about the prospects of an easing of monetary restraints. The Dow Jones-average of 30 industrials soared to a gain of 13.47 at 777.92. Hie rally spread widely through the list, with advances exceeding declines' by more than 500 on the Ne'w York Stock Exchange. The newest wave of encouragement sprang from a prediction by Don of Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner Smith, the world's ''largest brokerage firm, that the prime interest rate would be lowered within two months.

Late prices on the Big Board included Du Pont, up fo JKtfi; Eastman Kodak, up Hi to General Electric, up to General up 1 to G9fer U.S. Freight, off 1 to 4 Fail-child Camera, off H's to S6; and Telex, up to 135tt. Several developments Analysts said the market appeared fo be responding to several new developments. These included a statement by a leading New York bank, economist that he believed the Federal Reserve Board was beginning to relax monetary restraints; a cut in the prime lending rate by a second small bank, the Community National of fiakersfield, and a decline by leading economic indicators. A spirited rally broke out last Wednesday when the Lincoln National Bank of Philadelphia initiated the rate cut.

Dean Walker and Mrs. Francis Wenda, all of Belleville. The funeral will be 2 pm Sjat- irday at the Bachelor-Faulkner- Dart funeral chapel, Belleville. Burial will be in the Chester, cemetery. WILBUR SAN DIEGO, Calif.

Wilbur Greene, 87, San Diego, whose sisters, Edith Greene and Lula Greene, both live at 2054 Lam- jertson Lane, Saiina, died A'ednesday in San Diego. He was bom Aug. 30, 1882, Limestone, and had ived in San Diego 2 years. ile lived in Saiina for about' 18 years, leaving in the mid-1920s. He was a member of the Methodist Church.

Also surviving are anothei daughter, Mrs. Ruth Ellis, San Diego; 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Wednesday in Johnson City, Tenn. Burial will be in Greenville, Tonn. DENNIS SMITH Dennis Smith, 46, whose wife, Josephine, lives at 1101 N.

3rd, Saiina, died Sunday in He was born in 1924 in Pales- line and lived in Saiina several years. Mr. Smith was a construction worker. Also surviving are 6 brothers, Robert Austin, Los Angeles, Tom, Dick and Harry' all of Pittsburg, Lewis' Wichita Falls, and Palestine; 4 sisters. Mrs.

iMRS. ROSELLVA THRUN SYLVAN GROVE--Mrs. Roselina Thrun, 86, longtime Sylvan Grove resident, died Friday at the Lincoln county hospital. Mrs. Thrun was born Feb.

8, 1884, at Ellsworth. She was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Sylvan Grove. Survivors are a son, William, Sylvan Grove; a brother, Dan Panzer, Ellsworth; a sister, Mrs. Florence Bcnien, Lincoln, and 2 grandchildren.
