The event is a fund-raising effort "to fight cancer through research, education, and service to cancer patients," said Charlie Faupel, trail boss.

"We urge everybody to either take part or sponsor a participant" Sign-up for the Ride-a-Tnon will be from i p.m. until midnight April 24 at Weesatche Hall. A dance will begin at I p.m. at the nan with music by the Texas Armadillo Band. All proceeds from the dance will be donated to the Goliad County chapter of the ACS.

Overnight facilities will be available at Weesatche Hall. Riders will leave at 9 a.m. and parade through Weesatche before proceeding to Goliad. Several rest stops will be set up along the way where refreshments wUl be for sale, with catering by the Brown Bag of Victoria.
