Mrs. Ben Bruton of Monday came to see her uncle, Guinn Rhine. Rites held for Ashloek Services were Saturday at the Christian Funeral Chapel for Grover C. Ashloek, 86, of Decatur. He died Friday in St, Joseph Hospital in Fort Worth.

The Rev, James Rutledge officiated with interment in oaklawn Cemetery. Pallbearers were Roy and James Meador, Carl A. Read, Charley Donley and Bobby Fowler Jr. Ashloek was born Aug. 19, 1888 in Wise County.

His wife, Maude in 1968, He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Thresa Guthrie Read of Fort Worth; sons.G.C. Ashlock Jr. of Orlando, and James Ashloek of Fort Worth; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Arrangements were made by Christian Funeral Home in Decatur.
