William Whitehorne, to Lieutenant Harold W. Lewis, son of Mrs. Bertha Lewis and the late Mr. Herbert Lewis, of Yarmouth, N.S-, took place Saturday afternoon at three o'clock, in St Luke's Anglican Rev. Cecil Steen officiated.

Mr. Leonard S. Fos played the wedding music with Miss Dorothy Johnston as the soloist Given in marriage by hec father the bride was attended "by her sister. Mrs. J.

Wright Neil, as matron-of-honor, and little Miss Carolyn Kennedy, as flower girl. The best man was MiV J. Wright Neil and Mr. George Lewis and Pilot Officer George Clark were Ushers. Ttte bride wore a floor-length Sown of white Allison lace over Baronet satin with a short train.

The dress, styled with a Sweetheart neckline, 'was buttoned in the back from the- neck to the waistline. The circular finger-UP veil was arranged with a bridal neaoarecs in coronet eiiect, aua she carried a cascade bouquet of Johanna Hill roses and bouvardia. The matron-of-honor wore a patel pink silk lace and net dress fashioned with twin skirt in poplutn style. Her shoulder-length veil was held in place with a shirred Juliet cap of matching material and she carried a cas cade bouquet of pyrethrum. Briar' cliff roses and cornflowers, Little, Miss Carolyn Kennedy chose a floor-length frock'of point d'esprit with' a transparent shirred halo of "matching material.

Sweetheart tees and forget-me-nots composed her Colonial nose- Irs. Whitehome wore an at tractive model of orchid brocaded chiffon on Princess lines. Darker toned a si and American Beauty roses with a shoulder-lergth veil, fashioned her hat and she wore a shoulder bouquet of Talisman roses. Mrs. Lewis was wearing a crepe and lace ensemble in teale blue with a matching mohair hat Her corsage bouquet was of Briarcliff roses.

A reception was held the home, of the bride's parents -and later Lieutenant and Mrs. Lewis left on a trip. Tor, travelling, the bride cho3e a printed sheer redingote of Park avenue tan and beige with a model straw hat and matching accessories. She wore a corsage bouquet of Talisman roses. On their return they will reside in Ottawa.

Following a reception Mr. and Mrs. McMahon left for Montreal, the bride travelling in a rose crepe Redingote dress and a white bat Mrs. W. H.

Victor Podoski, Polish Minister to Canada, has returned from Montreal, where he conferred with the Mayor, the Officer Commanding Montreal Military District the principals of McSill and Montreal universities, th editors of the Montreal papers, and the Catholic Archbishop. The matron-of-honor was wear ing a frock of blue net and lace over taffeta with a similar head dress and bouquet to that of the maid-of-honor.

The three flower atria were gowned in similarly styled dresses of rose, yellow and orchid with flowers in their hair. They car ried Colonial nosegays. The couple left on a motor trln following a reception. The bride travelled in a poudre blue en semble. On their return thev wiu reside on the Bowesville road.

William Bilton of Ottawa, was quietly solemnized on Saturday evening in the Church of the Messiah, Toronto, with Rev. W. R. Sproule officiat ing. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father wore a candlelight blue street-length dress with matching hat and beige accessories.

Her flowers were rapture roses and bouvardia, She was attended by Miss Maude Waite, who was attired in garden rose with matching hat and black accessories. She wore a corsage of Mary Lamb roses.
