Princess Alice, accompanied by the Hon. Ariel Barrd, yesterday afternoon attended a garden party- given lor the Ottawa Local Association of Canadian Girl Guides at the' home of Mrs. Montagu G. Powell. 290 Coltrln road, Rockcliffe.

She was received by Mrs. Powell and Miss Kay Symes; Division Commissioner, and a guard of honor was formed by the First Rockcliffe Company. Miss Mildred Minter. captain, and. Miss Ella Minter and Miss Pene- Duguid, lieutenants, were presented by Miss Symes.

Mrs. J. Zjvian, treasurer, and Mrs. Hayes Lloyd, chairman of the camp committee, were in charge of the money table. An exhibition of the work done by the guides for the National War Services Committee was given in the library iUnder the supervision of Mrs.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a floor-length white net skirted frock with a jersey silk bodice fashioned with a Sweetheart neckline and long sleeves which ended in points over the hands. Her coronet headdress was trimmed with a finger-tip veil, and she carried an arm bouquet of whit roses.

She wore a white cut-outp straw model with a matching veil and her arm bouquet was of Rapture rosea and. whit bouvardia. A navy blue sheer frock worn by Miss Parisien 'and Miss Seguin chose a navy blue crepe. They wore navy and pink felt hats with shoulder bouquets of Sweetheart roses.

Cosenzo. Rev. John O'Neil officiated. Mr. Kenneth 0Hear played the wedding music and Miss Doreen McCurrie was the soloist.

Miss Marvel Milks, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid and Mr. Frank Cuccaro, cousin of the bridegroom, acted as best man. The bride chose a long white chiffon gown with an accordion pleated skirt. A coronet of tulle with lily-of-the-valley held her fingertip veil in place and she carried an arm bouquet of But terfly roses and white sweet peas. A floor-length frock of pink or ganza with a Sweetheart neckline and short sleeves was worn by the bridesmaid.

Her matching (houlder-length veil had flower clusters and she carried a Colonial bouquet of Briarcliff roses and pink sweet peas. A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents and later Mr. and Mrs. Cosenzo left on a short motor trip. The bride wore a brown polka dot frock with beige accessories.
