Playing a conspicuous and increasingly important part in the financial, development and forward-looking program of Waco and Central Texas, making new friends day by day, and rendering a great service to thousands of customers and many who are not directly connected with the institution, the Central National Bank of Waco has become a household word and one of the most popular business concerns here. This bank claims the largest number of depositors of any bank in Central Texas, the number running well into the thousands, proving the great popularity of the bank, its policies and its personnel of officers and employes. I he Central National Bank was organized as the Exchange National Bank, later the Central Texas National Bank was organized.
