Chico youth plan march Jane serve as chairman of the Miles for Children Walk Saturday, May 8, in Chico, The walkathon will raise money for he March of Dimes and its work against birth defects. Participant may make the walk themselves or sponsor a marcher in the 20 mile event. Walkers will collect contri bution pledges for every mile they walk. Entry forms are available at Chico High School. Mrs.

Keown was born March 13, 1900 in L)ecatur. Survivors include her hus band, Grady Keown of Green wood; daughters, Wynona Montgomery of Greenwood and Mary Gwendolyn Bowen of Sherman; brother, Glen McCracken of Spanola, N.M.; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
