THE VERNON DAILY RECORD, WEDNESDAY, MARCH 13, 1929 PAGE THR EH SOCIETY Interesting Musical Program Is Planned for Reception To Be Given in Honor of State Club Officials An interesting musical program has been planned for entertainment at the reception and tea to be given hy the Home Economics Club Thursday afternoon at the Vamparika Club House, honoring Mrs. W. R. Pctter of Bowie, president of the Texas Federation of Clubs, and Mrs, M. W.

Burch of Decatur, president of the First District of Federated Clubs. Features of the program will be addresses to be given by the guests of honor. A large num- is expected to attend the affair, since other clubs of Vernon have been invited to attend, according to Miss Robbie Castlebury, president of the club. Program Will Be Given by Club at Farmers Valley A program will fcc given at Farm- Valley auditorium Friday evening at 7:30 o'clock by the Farmers Valley Club. The program planned has been outlined as follows: Weicome address Miss Annie Price.

Alexander Hostess to Business Women at Party Mrs. W. IT. Alexander was hostess Tuesday evening to members of the Business and Professional Club with a bridge party at her home on Stephens Street. Decorations and refreshments were of the St.
