Death Record 1 Mrs. Bessie Croyle Bessie I. Croyle, 86, of Riverview Drive, New Kensington, died at 2:55 a.m. tbVlay in her home following an extended illness. Born Dec.

27, 1885 in Armstrong County, she was a daughter of Roland S. and Matilda (Wolffe) Bowser. A resident of New Kensington for 5C years, she was a member of the Maranatha Bible Church of New Kensington, the Dorcas Sunday School Class and the National Association of Gideons. Surviving are three sons, James Robert R. Jr.

and Dr. Ray all of New Kensington; three daughters, Mrs. Norman Ola) Tress and Mrs. Edward ('Beatrice) Clawson, both of New Kensington and Mrs. Edward (Mary Lou) Spires of Lighthouse Point, three brothers, Warren and Ernest Bowser of New Kensington and William Bowser of Markle; two sisters, Mrs.

Oda Zellefrow of Kittanning and Mrs. Erma grampton of Huntington, W. Vafj. 13 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Her husband, Robert R.

Croyle died May 23, 1963. GROYLE Friends of Mrs. Bessie I. Croyle, who died August 19, 1972, are being received after 7 p.m. today at the Ross G.

Henry R. (Helen McNees) Mueller Mrs. Henry R. (Helen 'McNees) Mueller, 79, of Allentown, died August 18,1972 in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Mrs.

Mueller, widow of Dr. Henry R. Mueller, was born May 10, 1893 in Kittanning. She attended schools in Kittanning and was a graduate of Smith College. She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, George Mueller.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. William B. 'fltoth of Clark's Greenland a stafcr, Mrs. William FJeese of Kittanning. Peter F.

Samosky A Kittanning native, Peter F. Samosky, 39, died at 11:50 p.m. Aug. 17, after being struck by a police car cruiser in Charlestown, W. Va.

Mr. Samosky, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter F. Samosky of i a i had lived ut 5 Pembrookii East Pea Ridge, Huntington, W.

Va. for 3 years, after being transferred from Pittsburgh. He was the general manager of Davis Wholesale a division of the Fox Grocery Co. Mr. Samosky left Ihc area in 1958 after working as a slock hoy in a local chain store.

Surviving Mr. Samosky in addition to his parents are: his i Deanie a i Samosky; two sons, Peter, and Paul; two daughters, Cindy Ann and Sarah Mary, all at home; one brother, Walter of Pittsburgh; and four sisters, Mrs. Andrew Kochanowski of Apollo, Mrs. William Flick, Miss Stella Samosky, and Mrs. Betty Cardin, all of Kittanning.

SAMOSKY Friends of Peter F. Samosky, who died Aug. 1972, are being received at the Klingel-Carpenter Funeral Home, Huntington, W. Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Rosary service will begin at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Fatima Church is scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday. Burial will follow in the Woodmere Cemetery.

Ivan R. Carbaugh Sr. Ivan R. Carbaugh 81, of 541 Philadelphia Indiana, died Friday, August 18, 1972, in the Indiana Hospital. He was a member of: Zion Lutheran Church, Indiana; Brookville Lodge, and AM; Jefferson County Knights Templar; Coudersport Consistory; and Jaffa Temple, Altoona.

A stationary engineer he was associated with the T. W. Phillips Gas and Oil Company of Butler for 38 years until his retirement. Born February 26, 1891 in Forest County he was a son of William E. and Alice (MacKenzie) Carbaugh.

Surviving are his Mabel L. Carbaugh, two sons Ivan R. Jr. of Indiana and Quentin H. of Jacksonville, Florida; a stepson Dean Lambing of Indiana, a step-daughter Mrs.

James (Beverly) Nichols of Denver, and a brother Clair M. of Seneca. CARBAUGH Friends of Ivan R. Carbaugh who died August 18, 1972, will be received at the Robinson-Lytle Funeral Home, at 36 7th Indiana, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.

Services will be conducted at 10 a.m.Monday at the funeral home by Rev. Elwood L. Stark. Interment will be at the Sunset Hill Memorial Park, Oil City. The Indiana Lodge of the and AM will conduct services at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m.
