61 Obituaries Robert Robert Hamilton Barry, 62, of Main New Hartford, died at Hartford Hospital on Jan. 9 following a fall at his home. He was born at White Haven Sept. 25, 1925, son of the late Karl M. and Ruth Wallace Barry.

He attended schools in Pennsylvania and was a former resident of Wyoming for 10 years prior to moving to Connecticut. He served with the Merchant Marines during World War 2. He was employed by the Underwood Corporation in Theodore Seligo Theodore J. Seligo, 66 Ashley Street, Wilkes-Barre, died Monday at Mercy Hospital ill at work. Born in Wilkes-Barre, he worked for Master Chemical a a warehouse foreman.

A graduate of GAR High School, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a Leo's Church, Ashley. Preceding him in mother, Nellie Gnacek William. Surviving are his Marie Quaglia; sisters, Radulski and Miss both of Wilkes-Barre; nieces and nephews. Funeral services Thursday at 9:30 Recupero Funeral Avenue, Wilkes-Barre of Christian Burial Church at 10.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, daughter of the late John and Edith Burrier Cunningham, she was employed in the laundry department of Valley Crest many years and was last employed as a waitress at Ray Hottle's Restaurant in WilkesBarre. She was a member of the ladies auxiliaries of the VFW, Kingston, and Veterans Administration Medical Center.

She was a member of St. Ignatius Church, Kingston, and its Altar and Rosary Society. She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Martin (Judith) Muldowney and grandsons, Thomas, Timothy and Michael, with whom she resided; sister, Mrs.

Cecila Godfried, Kearny, N.J.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral will be held Thursday at 10:30 from the Corcoran Funeral Home, 20 S. Main Plains, with Mass of Christian Burial at 11 in St. Ignatius Church. Interment will be in St.

Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to the Lupus Foundation. H. Barry Hartford.

Later, he owned and operated the New Hartford Candy Kitchen. In 1960, he joined Metropolital Life Insurance Company until his retirement. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, New Hartford, and was a member of New Hartford Historical Society, former town treasurer, served on the water and sewer commission and recreation board and for many years on the Democratic town committee. He was a member of Torrington Elks Lodge.

Surviving are his wife, the former Pauline Wabrek; son, Robert Cheshire, brothers, Melvin, Mt. Laurel, N. David, Harveys Lake; sister, Ruth Serafini, Wilkes-Barre; two grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Funeral will be Tuesday at 1 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, New Hartford, with Rev.

Timothy Yeadon, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Village Cemetery, New Hartford. Arrangements are by the John J. Shea Funeral Home, Steele Road, New Hartford. Memorial contributions may be made to St.

Paul's Church or National Arthritis Foundation. Antoinette Sickler Antoinette (Recine) Sickler, Weaver Street, Bloomfield, N.J., died Monday in Clara Moss Hospital, Belleville, N.J. Born and reared in West Pittston, a daughter of the late Carmen and Carmella LePore Recine, she attended local schools and was a former member of Immaculate Conception Church, West Pittston. Her husband, Perry died in 1930. Surviving are a daughter, Corrine Zirpoli, Bloomfield, N.J., with whom she resided; son, Perry Windsor, N.Y.; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Rose and Lena, both of West Pittston; Mrs.

Pickett, 64, of 9 Birch Mountaintop, died Monday afternoon at his home following an illness. Born in Wilkes- Barre Township, Aug. 23, 1923, a son of the late Earl W. and Esther Peritch Pickett, he was a graduate of Wilkes-Barre Township High School and attended night school at Penn State in Scranton. Mr.

Pickett was an Army veteran of World War II and was employed as an electrician for Bechtel Corp. prior to his retirement in 1978. He was a member and officer of the Executive Board of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 163. He also was a trustee of the Joint Apprentice Committee and for 13 years was employed as the related training instructor for WilkesBarre Vo-Tech School, Plains. Surviving are his wife, the former Dorothy Ford; son, Earl Voorhees, N.J.; one grandson; four brothers, Elmer, Pickney, John, Howell, Charles, Grand Rapids, Mich.

Battle, a former offical of the Pennsylvania Coal Company, and a son Bernard preceded her in death. Helen Garrity, Overland Park, Kansas; 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Irene Kearney Battle, formerly of 1306 Wyoming Exeter, Anna Hennessy Anna Hennessy, 98, a guest at Wyoming Valley Health Care Center, died Thursday, Jan. 7. Born in Jersey City, N.J., she was a daughter of the late William and Ellen Pray McKenna. Surviving are a son, James, Bath, N.Y.; daughters, Mrs. Lucy Gilmartin, Marysville, Mrs.

13, 1896, in WilkesBarre, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Frances Becker Armbruster, formerly of WilkesBarre. Mrs. Bauman was a graduate of Wilkes-Barre High School, Class of 1914, and a member of St. Nicholas Church, Wilkes-Barre. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs.

James (Eleanor) Cooney, Irvington, N.J.; son, Robert, Marysville, five grandchildren; seven great sisters, Mrs. Irene Engel and Mrs. Alberta Kreig, both of WilkesBarre. Her husband, Eloy, died Oct. 31, 1978.

Funeral will be held Wednesday at 10 from the Mamary-Durkin Funeral Home 59 Parrish Wilkes -Barre, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 in St. Nicholas Church. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may all one hour prior to time of services.

Martin P. Schade, 73, of 327 Springdale York, died Saturday in York Hospital. Born in Towanda, he was the son of the late William and Margaret Hamm Schade. He was employed as a plant manager by the York City School District for 18 years prior to his retirement. Mr.

Schade was a member of St. Patrick's Church, the Viking Athletic Association, Yankee Victory Athletic Association, Hawk Gunning Club and the Golden Nuggets. Surviving are his wife, the former Helen V. Militski; sisters, Gertrude Ryman, Endwell, N.Y.; Betty Reed, Webster, N.Y.; Suzanne Francis, Rochester, N.Y.; nieces and nephews. Funeral will be Wednesday at 9 from the Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, 21 N.
