Twenty-three girls and 202 boys were certified at this time. The program was conducted in accordance with Pennsylvania a Commission requirements for hunter safety. Clarion County Game Protector L. L.

Harshbarge-r coordinated the program and also certified East Brady teachers Russell Yeaney, John Klein and Harold Andre. These three instructors then were in charge of the high school program. The program was approximately six hours in duration. This time was divided into two hours of slides and lectures, two hours of films, one hour of sporting arms demonstrations and one hour of game laws and regulations. The hunter safety program will now be a permanent part of the physical education program.

Tentative plans are to certify only students in grades 7 and 8 for the next two years and then require all students in grades 7 through 12 to repeat the program the third year. This way all students will be presented hunter-safety instruction twice while in Junior- Senior high school, Mrs. Bonnie Olcus, school secretarv said.
