"The Suitcase Case." (Repeat). Our junkmen have fun with an old plot when son Lamont finds a satchel of stolen money. The corny premise serves as a good springboard for father and son as they gab about being rich, living next door to Wilt Chamberlain in Beverly Hills, before a gunman interrupts and tries to deal with Sanford's thinking. Those noble neighborhood cops, Smitty and Swanhauser, are back again, g)ing by the book, pulling chuckles.

7:00 PM NBC. Friday Night Movie. (Repeat). Three half-hour situatuion comedy pilots comprise this 90-minute film, offering viewers more interest in their casting than their content. Lou Gossett and Diana Sands star in "The Living End," about a pro football player worried about catching measles from his wife, during which occasional laughs sneak in.

"Oh Nurse!" finds chunky Pat Carroll riding herd over starlets cast as student Florence Nightingales, dashing about corridors in next to nothing, hiding a newlywed couple. In "The Singles," Ruth Buzzi and Michele Lee face an inept burglar, nicely played by John Byner, in a series about life in West Coast pads. 8:00 PM CBS. Room 222. "The Witch of Whitman High.

(Repeat). The current interest in psychics and witchcraft get an airing here. A lovely student arrives at Whitman High and her weird dress and habits soon reveal she thinks of herself as having special powers, labeling her a witch. Pete Dixon, Liz and Miss Johnson all have a hand in straightening out the confused young lady. 8:00 PM ABC.

The Odd Couple. "Win One for Felix." (Repeat). Good show, Felix wants to play the big man with his son, so he takes over the coaching duties of his boy's football team from Oscar. Felix looks upon himself as a budding Knute Rockne, but the team doesn't share his enthusiasm. Of course, Oscar steps in to save the day, but not until Felix goes through some funny locker room scenes.

8:30 PM ABC. The Governor and J.J. (Repeat). Fairly amusing episode, vintage 1969, concerns a Latin American dictator who happens to be a former college classmate of the Governor. Michael Ansara plays the fellow, and he's properly ominous.

For a chance, J.J. becomes hostile because she doesn't dig the man, and shows her youth by her coolness. The Governor handles the whole thing with grace and comes up a winner. 9:30 PM CBS. Saturday Programs Spedal.

"What's a Convention All About?" Here's an opportunity for your children to learn something about a political convention from a seasoned journalist who's been the anchorman for many a convention in his time. His name is Walter Cronkite and he's joined by a number of reporters on his team for the upcoming Democratic National Convention in Miami. 11:30 PM CBS. Spedal. Wimbledon Tennis Championships.

Live, via satellite, NBC will telecast events of the Wimbledon Open Tennis Championships from the All-England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in Wimbledon, England, at two separate times today. The first coverage at this hour will feature the men's singles championship final. 11:30 PM NBC. Spedal. Wimbledon Tennis Championships.

Once again today, via satellite from Wimbledon, England, live coverage of the Wimbledon Open Tennis Championships is telecast. During this hour-long segment, highlights of the women's singles and men's doubles title matches will be presented. 4:00 PM NBC. Wide World of Sports. Two diverse but equally interesting events take over today's sports bill highlights of the World Ch.

Men's Olympic Track and Field Trials from Eugene, Ore. 4:00 PM ABC. All in the Family. (Repeat). Round Two with Archie and Edith's cousin Maude (Beatrice Arthur), a lady with a fast lip (who'll show up on her own CBS series "Cousin Maude" next season).

Archie and Edith go by bus to attend the wedding of Maude's daughter, and then pull a disappearing act, giving the stage to Maude's family. There's a last-minute battle between the bride and groom with anti-Semitic accusations flying, and it's lively, frank material, with Bunker setting off the fireworks, of course 7:00 PM CBS. Saturday Summer Movie. "The Deadly Affair." (1967). (Repeat).

Engrossing detective drama starring James Mason, Simone Signoret and Maximilian SchelL set smack in the middle of the world of espionage and its agents. Mason is excellent as a British agent who tries to uncover the hidden facts behind the suicide of a British government employee. The plot is full of twists and turns, and although you may be a bit ahead of the action at times, the performance of the cast, and Sidney Lumet's direction of the yarn based on John LeCarre's novel "Call for the Dead," will hold your attention to the end. 7:00 PM ABC. The Mary Tyler Moore Show.

(Repeat). Amusing newsroom episode with baldheaded Murray the writer, the center of attraction for once. Murray (Gavin MacLeod) happens to be moonlighting, driving a cab nights to buy his wife a big anniversary present, and the overload affects his work. Helpful Mary sticks her nose into Murray's problem, and manages to make things worse. Rick MitUeman's breezy script has beetle-eyed boss Lou Grant being forced to apologize to newsreader Ted Baxter a must scene for series followers.

7:30 PM CBS. Mission: Impossible. (Repeat). Head man Phelps plays a blind agent after delicate eye surgery, as agents crack the syndicate in a tough, active hour. Star Peter Graves imitates a drinking blind man to convince hoods he's not faking the eye problem, and the man is tested in key scenes and forced to improvise plans.

The hoods are properly cold and vicious, and the action seldom lets down. 9:00 PM CBS. Spedal. The National Democratic Telethon, Scores of show business and sports celebrities will be on hand throughout this 184 hour telethon aimed at raising enough money to pay off the Democratic Party's debt from the 19C8 campaign. Among those who promise to be on hand are: Paul Newman, Groucho Marx, Paul Hornung, Shirley MacLaine, Lauren Bacali, Raymond Burr, and Mike Nichols ABC.
