i 12D December 7,1975, Lincoln, Sunday Journal and Star Weddings Gibson-Dilley Miss Gretta Louise Gibson and Michael Wallace Dilley were united in marriage in a 7:30 p.m. Saturday ceremony at First- Plymouth Congregational Church. The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. R.

Desmond Gibson, and the bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Wallace Dilley, and the late Mr. Dilley. Mrs. Tom Martin was matron of honor and maid of honor was Miss Susan Moody.

Bridesmaids were Miss Vonna Honeycutt, Mrs. James Stoll and Miss Debbie Dilley. Serving as best man was Vaughn Dilley. Patrick Bean, Keith Bigsby, Michael Smith and Bryan Dilley were groomsmen. Ushers were Richard Gibson of Overland Park, John Gibson of Lawrence.

Jack Ganser and Tom Martin. The couple will live in Lincoln. Hanau-Engel Cook Grace Lutheran Church was the setting for the marriage of Miss Nancy L. Hanau and Rodney A. Engel of Lincoln.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Hanau and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Engel of Friend.

Matron of honor was Mrs. Bill Cropp and bridesmaid was Mrs. Calvin Engel of Lincoln. Serving as best man was Calvin Engel of Lincoln. Bill Cropp was groomsman and seating the guests were Robert Ferguson of Nebraska City and John Graham of Lincoln.

After a wedding trip to the Ozarks, the newlyweds will live in Lincoln. Wissink-Wahl Holland Wedding vows were exchanged by Doris Ann Wissink of Bennet and Ronald E. Wahl of Lincoln in a 3:30 p.m. Saturday ceremony at the Reformed Church. Their parents are Mr.

and Mrs. J. Harmon Wissink of Bennet and Mr. and Mrs. Orland Wahl of Western.

Mrs. Emma Hague of Lincoln was matron of honor. Other attendants were Mrs. Luetta Mrs. Dilley (Gretta Gibson) Sinner, Mrs.

Lelia Shaner and Mrs. Terri Hicken, all of Lincoln, and Mrs. Janice Bryant of Lexington. Serving as best man was Carmen Gross of Shickley. were a Wissink of Panama, Richard Wissink and Irvin Hague, both of Lincoln, and Kenneth Wahl of Western.

Seating the guests were Russ Peterson and Ron Wilkinson, both of Lincoln. A dance was held at the Legion Hall in Western. The couple will live at 401 So. 30th in Lincoln. Mrs.

Engel (Nancy Hanau) Mrs. Wahl (Doris Wissink) Anniversaries The Elmer Harmses Syracuse Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Harms will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. next Sunday at Rural Christ Lutheran (Delaware) Church.

Friends may attend without further invitation. The event is being hosted by the couple's children, Mr. and Mrs. James Harms of San Jose, Mrs. Delores Pearson of Lincoln and Mr.

and Mrs. Dale Harms. Mr. and Mrs. Harms were married Dec.

23,1925, in Iowa. They have seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The Carl Riegers Utica Mr. and Mrs. Carl Rieger were honored on their 45th wedding anniversary with a reception and dinner at the Elks Club in York.

Hosts were their children and their spouses, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rieger of Mitchell, S.D., Mr. and Mrs. Donald Rieger of Gresham, Mr.

and Mrs. Bill J. (Janice) Wiemer of Turon, Mr. and Mrs. Roy (Gladys) Wiemer of York, their 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

The couple was married Dec. 2, 1930, in Council Bluffs. The Jim Dorans The 40th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Jim (Helen) Doran will be celebrated with a dance 8 p.m.

Saturday at Hidden Valley. Hosts will be their sons-in-law and daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Neil (Marlyn) Bailer of Augusta, and Mr. and Mrs.

Vern (Jeanne) Scholl. Also hosting the event will be Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Gibson. Friends may attend without invitation.

The Dorans were married Dec. 11, 1935, in Council Bluffs. The Carl Schmidts Western In celebration of their 40th wedding anniversary, Mr. and Mrs. Carl W.

Schmidt will be honored with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. next Sunday at their home. Friends may attend without invitation. Hosting the event will be their children, Mrs. Frederick (Carleen) Novak, Mrs.

and Mrs. Albert Zessin are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. today at their home, 2010 No. 54th. Hosts will be their daughter, Brenda Zessin, and their son and daughter-in-law, Mr.
