"Obituaries Mrs. Anna Mrs. Anna Perlis, 75, of 24 Scureman Lyndwood, Hanover Township, died Wednesday morning in Mercy Hospital. She was born April 10, 1906, in Larksville, the daughter of the late Paul and Helen Kazlauskas Polunas. Mrs.

Perlis later moved to Hanover Township, where she had resided most of her life. She was a member of St. Casimir's Church, Lyndwood, its Christian Mothers, Altar and Rosary Society and St. Ann's Society. her husband, Joseph, died Oct.

11, 1949. Surviving are a son, John Perlis, Hunlock Creek; daughter, Dolores, at home; four grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Joseph Polunas, Catonsville, John Polunas, Willowick, Ohio; Mrs. Helen Stiles, Warminster, Mrs. Mildred Remus, Hatboro; Mrs. Nell Roman, Kingston.

Funeral will be Saturday at 10:30 from S. J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 W. Main Plymouth, with Mass of Christian Burial at 11 in St. Casimir's Church, Lyndwood, Hanover Township.

Interment in parish cemetery, Muhlenburg. Friends may call Thursday 7 to 9 and Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Born in Lehman Township, 14, 1897, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Wealthy Pembleton Hadsall. A life resident of the Back Mountain, she resided in Lehman the last 24 years. Mrs. Elston was a member of Huntsville Christian Church. She and her husband, Charles R.

Elston, celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary Aug. 15, 1980. Surviving in addition to her husband are daughters, Mrs. Jean Evans, Huntsville; Mrs. Phyllis Jones, Shavertown; Mrs.

Mass of Edward J. Edward J. Semanski 151 Dickson Duryea, died Tuesday night in Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton. Born in Duryea, he was as son of the late Ludwig and Theodora Lubinski Semanski. He was educated in Duryea schools and was a former coowner of Semanski Brothers grocery store, Duryea, retiring several years ago.

He was a member of St. Mary's Polish National Catholic Church, Duryea and its YMS of Society. He was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Thistle Lodge 512, Pittston. His wife, the former Katherine Makala died July 1 1, 1967. VI Surviving are a son, Edward Riverside, daughter, Mrs.

Adam Walichiewicz, Fairview Park, Ohio; two grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Victoria Walukas, Duryea; Mrs. Mary Yarosz, Union, N.J.; brothers, Frank and Stanley, both of Duryea. A sister, Mrs. Anna Perovich, and brothers, Leo and Richard, preceded him in death.

Virginia Beckerman, Dan Flood Towers, Kingston, died Wednesday morning in Leader Nursing Center West, Kingston. Born in Wilkes-Barre, daughter of the late Edward and Leona Kitchen Armbruster, she was a graduate of Wilkes-Barre General Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1941. She was employed at the Leader Nursing Center West, Kingston, as a registered nurse, retiring in 1977. A veteran of World War II, having served with the Army Nurse Corps, she participated in five campaigns. Surviving are sons, Robert, McGuire Air Force Base, N.J.; Donald, Penn Lake; Richard, Forty Fort; duaghter, Mrs.

Cheryl Atkinson, Harding; seven grandchildren. Following World War II, Dr. and Mrs. Doane moved to the Wilkes-Barre area, where Dr. Doane established the medical program for veterans in Northeastern Pennsylvania. For six years, Mrs.

Doane served as dean of women at Wilkes College. She also served as president of the Wyoming Valley Woman's Club Surviving are sons, Dr. John H. Doane Winston-Salem, N.C.; Dr. Joseph C.
