Richard L. Bowman, commander of the 402nd Military Police Prisoner of War Camp, U.S. Army Reserve, Hanover Township, will be the principal speaker. Col. Bowman, an Allentown resident, is chief of sales for Rawlelgh Sporting Equipment, East Coast area.

He is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and was a Big Eight football player. He was assistant head coach and physical director at the United States Military Academy, West Point, N.Y. He also played football with the New York Giants for several years. Joseph F. Fisher is chairman of the smoker and Paul Cotter, co-chairman.

Honorary chairman Joseph F. Shaughnessy. Peter Delano is ticket chairman. Attorney Joseph Gallagher will serve as master of ceremonies. Other committee members Include Howard Jones, Jack Brogan, John Martin, John Shlval and Brian PowBrs.

Tickets may be obtained at the door or from committee members. Food and refreshments will be served. Hospital Alumnae Seeking Old Photos Parade, sponsored by the Greater Pittston Jaycees, will be held on Sunday, Oct. 26, at 2 p.m. All children, pre-school and including sixth grade, and adults are Invited to take part.

Parade will begin at the corner of Montgomery Avenue and Wyoming Avenue in West Pittston, continue on Wyoming Avenue, over the Fort Jenkins Bridge, down Wharf Street and ending at Burger King. All costumed children will receive a bag of goodies from the Jaycees. Children will be lined up according to grades. Awards in each category of grades will be presented to the funniest, most frightening, and most original. Three awards will also be presented to adults in costume.

It is requested that parents accompany the younger children. Children should be at the starting point between 1 and 1:15. Also participating in the parade will be the local fire companies. Hunter Safety Course To Be Offered Sunday Hunter Safety Course will be offered at the American Legion Post on South Main Old Forge, on Sunday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m.

Ida Fialko was named by Mooslc Borough Council as tax collector to fill the unexpired term of her husband, Michael Fialko, who passed away. Mr. Fialko served as tax collector for 11 years. Mrs. Fialko was nominated by council president Thomas Petro.

Councilman Ken Smerdon seconded the appointment. Conversion of Taylor Hospital Is Approved v- i Plans are progressing for the general reunion of Pittston Hospital Alumnae Association which will be held Nov. 8 at Gus Genetti's In Wllkes-Barre.
