Ball, age 81, of Route 3, Calhoun died Monday, August 29. 1983 at Our Lady of Mercy Hospital in Owensboro. He was born November 19, 1901 in McLean County and was a member of Beulah General Baptist Church. Survivors include one son, Bob Ball of Owensboro; three grandchildren; one greal-grandson; one sister, Mrs. Rena Settle of Route 3, Calhoun; three brothers.

Vollic Ball of Owensboro, Alono Ball of Route 6, Ow ensboro and Carson Ball of Beech Grove. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Muster Funeral Home, Calhoun wilh Rev. Delbert Bryant of Owensboro officiating. Burial was in Beulah Cemetery.
