Sunday, October 12, all the members of the Baha'i Faith in Canyon attended the North Texas District Convention in Childress, Texas Dan Caldwell, treasurer of the of Canyon, was elected chairman of the convention. He wag also elected as an alternate delegate to attend the National Baha'i Convention in April. The purpose of the District Convention is to elect a delegate to represent the area at the annual National Baha'i Conven tion held in April at the Baha'i House of Worship in Wilmette, Illinois.
