Labor Hard To Get Eakens says the two ranches in Texas find both cowboys and farm labor hard to get. can remember when good cowboys were easv to he we used to pay $30 a month in the depression now get $300. They also get hospitalization, a house and lots of tringe benefits. Farm help has been hard to come by for Farm help is important because the Ratter 0 and RO raise a lot of the feed their cattle eats Some of the land is irrigated and every winter the owners plant about 1.000 acres of wheat.

Cows graze on it until about March 15 and then it is allowed to produced wheat. Use Chuck Wagon Lerov McCracken is foreman at the and Billv Seale is foreman at the Raft O.
