Clay brook retired in after 48 years in the Southern Baptist pastorate with service in Texas, len- nessce and Kentucky. Since retirement, Rev. laybrook has done supply and interim pastoral work with many Baptist Churches in Memphis. He was the pastor for First Baptist Church of Canyon from 1923-28. The Claybrooks were married in in Jackson, Tennessee.

A graduate of Canyon High School in the bride is employed with Cabana Beauty Salon in Canyon. The bridegroom graduated from Canyon High School in and plans to attend West Texas State University this fall. He is engaged in farming west of Canyon.

A graduate of Canyon High School, the bride is a junior business education major at West Texas State University in Canyon. Tlie bridegroom also graduated from Canyon High School and has recently returned from a tv month active duty tour with the Marine Reserve Corps. He will also attend WTSU this fall.
