(Special) Evening bridal vows were spoken by Miss Judith Vivian Tilleraas and Verdayne Arnold Melbostad May 25 with the Rev. Edmund Beaver officiating at the Waterloo Ridge Lutheran Church. Mrs.

Ralph Ardinger was organist and accompanied Arlen Solie, soloist. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mn. Orval Tilleraas and the bridegroom is the son of Mr, and Mrs. Arnold Melbostad.

Miss Jaerdis Tilleraas, sister of the bride, was maid of honor; Mrs. Wayne Meitrodt, sister of the bridegroom, Misses Sally Chris-topherson and Beverly Nelson were bridesmaids. St. Charles Catholic Church was dec-orated with red and white flowers June 1 for the marriage of Miss Judy Ellringer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Ellringer, St. Charles, and Charles W.

Nicklay, St. Charles, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles N. Nicklay, Dover, Minn.

Miss Regina Wegman, Dover, was maid of honor and Pat Nicklay, Dover, was best man. Francis Ellringer, Rochester, and George Putzier, St. Charles, ushered. The bride's gown of silk organza RALPH BUTLER is shown on Fonseca Yellow Knife, a two-year-old Appaloosa stallion, just after winning the Appaloosa costume class at the Anoka Regional Horse Show. The Butlert spent about 5 months designing this authentic Indian costume.

Mr. Butler rides in the costume class and has won ribbons In this and other events. He and his sons, James and John, have shown horses for several years. Employed as trainer by the Money Creek Ranch, Houston, Mr. Butler makes his home at the ranch, while his son, James, is employed at the Maquoketa Valley Ranch, Dyersville, Iowa.

Both Butlers will be showing colorful Appaloosas at the Winona Valley Riders show Sunday. carried white carnations and wore pearl earrings, gifts of the bride. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of Chantilly lace and silk organza fashioned with sabrina neckline, long sleeves and princess style skirt.

A double crown of crystals and pearls held her bouffant silk illusion veil. Her bouquet was of pale pink carnations and sweet Miss Jane Marie. Glowacki, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dominic Glowacki, Clinton, Iowa, and Donald Howard, son of Mr.

and Mrs. Joseph Howard, Clinton, were married May 18 in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Clinton. The Glowacki family formerly lived at 102 Stone Winona, when Mr. Glowacki was employed by the Chicago North Western Railway here.

Attendants were Miss Sue Glowacki, sister of the bride, Miss Rose Eberhart, Raymond Glowacki, brother of the bride, and John Darsidan. Matthew Rimmer Fremont Couple Celebrates 50th Anniversary UTICA, Minn. (Special) Mr. and Mrs. Charles Greethurst were Robert Wenger, Bride at Home After Trip Mr.

Harry S. Wenger, 69 King were married in a ceremony performed by the Rev. Robert Kulas in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Aqua carnations and white snapdragons decorated the altar.

Sister M. Edward was organist and the school choir sang. Miss Roxanne Kochta was maid of honor and the Misses Nancy Kratch and Lenora Hogenson were bridesmaids. Gary Wenger, Minneapolis, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Carl W.

A matching lace pillbox hat trimmed with seed pearls held her bouffant English silk illusion veil. She carried pink and white roses and stephanotis. The bridal attendants wore aqua sata peau floor -length dresses and matching headdresses. Each carried aqua and white carnations. A dinner and reception were held honored at an open house June 2 on their 50th wedding anniversary at their home Fremont.

In charge of the wedding cake was Miss Marjorie Greethurst of Fairmont, niece of Mr. heart roses. A reception in the church parlors for 300 guests followed the ceremony. Assisting at the reception were Mrs. Palmer Bergsgaard, Mrs.

Rudolph Ranzenberger, Mrs. Leland Lund, Mrs. Norman Wer-mager, the Misses Karen Langlie, Elaine Bergsgaard, Sharon Brand, Yvonne Cheryl Melbostad, Alysann Eglinton, Audrey Vongrov-en and Judy Vongroven, Mrs. Norman Vongroven, Miss Judy Haug-se, Mrs. Silas Vongroven and Mrs.

Lester Vongroven. The bridegroom's parents entertained the bridal party following rehearsal. The couple are graduates of the Spring Grove High School and the bride, of a Minneapolis School of Business. Charles. St. Mary's Art Exhibit Is Greethurst. The ice cream was served by Miss Joan Greethurst of Spring Grove 1938 Class Holds Reunion SPRING GROVE, Minn. (Special) The Spring Grove High School graduation class of 1938 will hold their 25th anniversary reunion Saturday evening at the Skyline Supper Club.

Letters have been sent to class members and all former teachers and interested friends are invited to attend. The committee in charge of arrangements is Mrs. Kenneth Onsgard, Spring Grove (Arlene) Evenson); Ernest Steneroden, St. Paul, and Mrs. Robert Hefte, Caledonia (Josephine Burtness).

Athletic Club Auxiliary Picnic Attended by 90 Winona Athletic Club Auxiliary held a picnic supper for 90 members Monday at the club. Winners at cards during the social hour were: Zionchek Mrs. Frank Mlynczak, Mrs. Mary Yahn-ke and Mrs. Mark Yahnke; 500 Lewiston and the coffee was pour ed by Miss Nancy Hammer of Rushford, niece of Mr.

Greethurst. JOHN C. LEDDEN, Fond-du-Lac, announces the engagement of his daughter, Judith Rae, to Donald Duell-man, son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Duellman, Fountain City, Wis.

Miss Ledden is a 1963 graduate of Newman High School. Wausau, Wis. Mr. Duellman, who is a 1959 graduate of Cochrane-Fountain City High School, attended Dun-woody Industrial Institute at Minneapolis. He is employed at Butterfield Refrigeration.

Mr. Van Gundy, Bride at Home In St. Paul HOUSTON, Minn. Mr. and Mrs.

Robert Van Gundy are at home at St. Paul following their marriage June 1 in St. John's Lutheran Church, Ashippun, Wis. The bride is the former Miss Laurel Radtke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Gerhard Radtke, Oco-nomowoc, and Mr. Van Gundy is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Van Gundy, Houston. THE REV.

The group voted to give a Spring Grove Ladies Aid saving bond to the Release Time School, to invite the husbands to the November meeting, to vote at the July meeting in regard to having a Harvest Festival, to send two delegates to the ALCW convention at St. Louis, Aug. 15-18 and to have the circles raise money toward expenses of these delegates.

Hostess circles are needed for the December Golden Age meeting and nursery. The Eunice Circle provided the program and table decorations. The Lydia Circle was in charge of the nursery. Hostesses for the social hour were the Mmes. Charles Casterton, chairman, Henry and Ole Blegen, Gertie and Goth-ard Blexrud, Einar Borg-Breen, Glenn and Kenneth Bratland.

The Girl Scouts presented a program under the direction of their leader, Mrs. Rostad. Mary Brem-seth presented a plaque to the auxiliary for sponsoring the Girl Scouts. Lunch was served with Mrs. Johnson as chairman.

The July meeting will be a picnic. WOMEN'S STUDY CLUB ARCADIA, Wis. (Special) The Arcadia Women's Study Club met Tuesday at the home of Mrs. Palmer Kolstad in Newcomb Valley, near Arcadia. Following a noon luncheon, Mrs.

Spencer Hanson showed colored slides and spoke on her trip to Mexico in January. Dr. Elizabeth Comstoek presented a record entitled "The Faith of Abraham Lincoln." their home. DEI? at Dubuque, where he was granted a B.A. in English in 1954, he was art editor of the Purgold, the college annual, besides studying oil and watercolor painting, sculpture and stage design.

This year he has been working independently and at the College of St. Teresa in painting and graphics. Assigned to the Scholasticate of St. Joseph, Terrace Heights, he will teach in the Fall at Cretin High School, St. Paul, where he hopes to continue his art studies.

The exhibit will run through ihc first week of August in the Fitzgerald Library. The public is Li-vited to view the works. BREMMER ANNIVERSARY RUSHFORD, and Mrs. Truman Bremmer will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary June 23 with an open house from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at their home.

No invitations are being sent. MRS. IRENE FAA of Spring Grove, announces the engagement of her daughter, Carol, to Ronald F. Ryan, son of Mr. and Mrs.

Thomas J. Ryan of Rochester, Minn. A July wedding is being planned. Miss Faa is a graduate of the Spring Grove High School and will be graduated from the Rogers and Benner Beauty School in Minneapolis this summer. Her fiance is completing his course of study at the Minnesota School of Business in Minneapolis and will be employed in Tucson, Ariz.

A buffet supper was served in the church basement. For travel to the Smoky Mountains the bride wore a yellow ensemble with black accessories and a white orchid corsage.

Ferndale Club Sets Golf Play HOUSTON', Minn. (Special -Ferndale Country Club will have a Crazy Golf Two Ball Foursome Sunday at 4 p.m. followed by a steak fry. Members will bring their own steaks and the Club will furnish the rest. Members, guests and friends are invited to attend.
